En week-end au Canet en Roussillon, nous avons choisi ce restaurant en marchant le long de la promenade simplement en regardant les cartes des restaurants. "Une belle histoire " est un restaurant raffiné a la décoration méditerranéenne sobre.Nous avons pris un tartare de thon et un tartare de bÅuf, ils étaient tout les deux excellents.Avec des produits frais et des frites fait maison, nous avons adorés.Le service est souriant et a l'écoute.Le restaurant porte bien son nom.Nous le recommandons pour les personnes voulant passé un moment convivial autour d'un bon repas au produits de qualité.

Husband and I are veggies. Looked at the menu as fancied tapas, and was told that they could put together a platter of tapas dishes. We were consulted twice on what we could eat etc. Resulting food was great; filled mushrooms, marinaded peppers, goats cheese and Manchego bruschettas etc. Great service!

Having eaten here on several previous visits to Canet Plage this was very disappointing.Very busy for a Monday evening-had a pleasant table and service was ok.We ordered aperitifs,wine and the Maxi mix tapas for 2.On arrival it looked ok but soon became clear that it was stale and some dishes had been reheated!Hubbie polished off most of it but I was cautious because of the clearly reheated not freshly prepared dishes!Pudding was good -had a lovely chocolate fondant.Maybe this time we choose the wrong thing?Other dishes looked ok and freshly cooked.Such a shame because we have had excellent tapas in the past!

Lovely dinner spent with my family. Place is cozy, owner is really friendly. Everything was delicious, from the mozza sticks to the cheesecake. Had the tartare the boeuf witch was tasty, homemade French fries truly were amazing. My parents did have salmon and seiche brochettes, they did love them. We have been generously served, but as we wanted to try it all, we had cheesecake and fondant and we did not regret ! Perfectly cooked fondant, cheesecake got the most beautiful texture ( maybe a tiny bit too sweet but still delicious). Can't wait to go back and try their burgers, they look awesome ! Good job guys! To be honest, the restaurant could do with more staff, but the food was fabulous - great sharing platters, delicious! Drinks were good and it was all all value for money. Nice atmosphere, kid friendly (early in the evening). A classy place!

We visited Canet en Rousillon for a holiday and was given a recommendation for Can Marcel. It certainly didn't disappoint the food was wonderful and so was the service. The waitress explained each meal to us and made us feel very relaxed and welcome. The 2 men in our party had the Red Tuna which was a special of the day, my friend had roasted monkfish tail on a bed of potatoes and onions and I had an amazing selection of shellfish. Highly recommended.

Stay away this establishment, they exercise racial abuse. Never been treated so badly by management. My partner and I were thrown out after not being able to understand the menu and as we walked away this staff began to slur and signal racial abuse. I have never been so embarrassed in my life. It sadness me how Restaurants can still carry on in this manner. Good food, well prepared and presented. The owner was warm and smiley, came with different wines and let us try and choose our favourites (even though we only ordered our wines by the glass). We had some meats, cheese, salads and very tasty meat balls which we definetely recommend. We sat outside and enjoyed our brunch. Unfortunately the restaurant was closed for few days during our stay so we didnât have the opportunity to try more dishes or have a dinner at this place. All in one, a good place to have a brunch and enjoy a glass of wine and a meal. Merci beaucoup ! You are lovely!!!!! See you soon!!!!
