The breakfast staff is friendly and the food is pretty good. Two days, two different chef's it was obvious not because one was better than the other, just different type of presentation even down to the same style toast but was a different toast (huh?).The bartenders at night are horrible! Bad attitude, they act like working until closing is a problem. Apparently the mountain thinks 10pm is late for its guests and the bartenders take full advantage of leaving at 9:59! I think that is really poor and if your going to advertise a bar and restaurant, and burden your customer to go across the street while your under renovations your service should be friendly and the bartender should be more accommodating. Getting practically kicked out is uncomfortable. Because of this, I don't recommend and its too bad the club gets a bad name due to the need for use while under renovations but that is not the customers problem.

Visiting the area we stopped off here for some food. Wonderful relaxed atmosphere and fairly busy with family groups and friends etc. We struck lucky visiting on a Tuesday between 1600 and 1800 it was $6 burger time !I had the regular vt cheeseburger and I paid a little extra for bacon. The burger came with a heap of Parmesan truffle fries and you really need to try those! The burger was excellent and is testament to this restaurant that shows good quality ingredients will always make excellent food. Our server was super helpful and polite and I really hope we get to visit again really soon. Oh and the pen they give you to sign the check actually says “ this pen was stolen from Mr Darcy’s” so of course I stole it !!! Wonderful !!

We have been eating at Charity’s for years but last summer the owner died and new management took over. In the past food and service has always been quite good. We love the space, a take on a Vermont sugar house. They have a full bar and limited wine and beer selections. We first ate there under the new management in December of last year and the menu was severely limited. Tonight they had a full menu and at first glance it looks quite good. We ordered a small Greek salad, crab cakes and falafel tacos and a drink. The Greek salad was mediocre but acceptable. My cocktail was a Goombay Smash, a Killington speciality and was very good. The crab cakes seemed to be missing the crab and were over cooked. Pretty bad. They were also on a bed of cold mushroom quinoa which didn’t go very well together. The falafel tacos were undercooked and mushy. Sadly the new management isn’t doing a good job with quality. It barely gets a two star rating.Robert, we are sending you a private message. Please be on the lookout for that.

We were traveling through Killington and were ready to stop for a lunch break. Not many places were open for lunch — they wait to open for dinner. We stopped at the Visitor Center and they told us this place was open and even gave us a coupon. The weather was nice so we chose to sit on the “rooftop” for our meal. The view up there is beautiful! We went early fall so the leaves were just beginning to change. The food was good, the burgers were large, and the service was fine. There was only one waitress helping everyone on the rooftop and she had to keep going from the rooftop down to the kitchen and back up the stairs, even for refills! They should figure out a way to make that a little easier on the waitress. I could give this eatery a recommendation based on our experience here.

We hear this place is wall to wall people during the winter season so expect a wait if you’re coming after a day of skiing or sledding. They have an observation deck so you can view the brewing process. T-shirt’s and other goodies for sale too.

We dined here as part of a women’s weekend. The food was good, and the decor attractive. Hostess was friendly, but service was slow. Most detracting feature was the volume of the place. The restaurant is spacious with few tables, yet it was impossible to hear friends’ conversations. Seating outside on the porch is recommended to avoid this problem.
