I went to this mall based food outlet that is an extension of the warehouse store that actually is miles away. I had hoped for similar food to what I experience in their Global City branch. I guess they must bring the food from their main store. It took over 30 minutes to serve me even if there was no one there. They said they only cook food when someone orders. Try this with hotdogs and something so simple can just go so WRONG! I got a hotdog that was probably reheated 3 times in the 3 days it was on wait. It was in a bun that would be considered a deadly weapon because of its hardness. I asked that the bread be changed as I thought the hotdog was useless. They made me wait 10 minutes for the "new" bun but they actually just wet the bread and heated it again making it mushy, hard and soft if you know what I mean. I just ate the hotdog and left. Don't even try the pizza as the person beside me waited as long and got a pizza that seemed to be catsup and cheese with reheated pepperoni on top. He also barely ate it. We all promised never to return.

I heard from my siblings that S& R Retail store decided to spin off their Pizza business into a restaurant because their Pizzas became popular with their customers and so this S & R Pizza store was launched in several malls one of which is located in Ayala Mall in Tagaytay.Their pizzas are huge and cheap compared to other locak pizza stores. For a big pizza it would cost you just over Php600.My siblings loved their pizza so they are constant and regular patrons of this store.

Since we wanted something light for dinner, we went to Carlo's to end our carnivore diet of beef and bone marrows. We didn't had a view of the lake since it was night time but we've been here before for lunch and view was definitely amazing.We picked mozzarella cheese sticks and pesto pizza and all these tasted close to a legit Italian pizzeria! Their pasta were lacking though. Servers weren't that attentive and we had some trouble with our orders due to some kitchen issues. If you're thinking of skipping bulalo and salads, try Carlo's.

My husband and I dined here on Tuesday night. We absolutely enjoyed the dinner. We ordered mozzarella and cheese for appetizer, a salad and for our entree, he had pasta with four-cheese sauce while I had pasta with bolognese sauce. Our dessert was tiramisu. The temperature and texture of the pasta was just right -- high temperature and al dente. The sauces were delicious.We also appreciated the ambiance -- the low-volume background music, well-set table with linen and plate settings and quietness. (It is difficult to find restaurants in Tagaytay that are quiet -- loud, unruly children and overstaffed employees talking louder than clients are quite the norm). Our waiter was attentive to our needs.Finally, the maî·tre d'hô·tel, who turned out to be the owner's son was quite hospitable, asking us how we enjoyed our dinner.This restaurant, so far, is the best Italian restaurant I have encountered in the Philippines. I lived in upstate, NY, and I can say this restaurant is comparable to those in NY. In fact, I told my husband that night, that I felt like I was back in NY, and that I would return to this restaurant, whenever I felt homesick.

The stake can be for sharing. The good thing with this is it comes with a complimentary glass wine. They never had this before. Yummy steak!
