We came to Giuseppi's based on a conversation with another traveler we met earlier. He heartily recommended both the pizza and pasta. I've gotten picky about pizza in my old age, I'm afraid, and I've become a Neapolitan pizza bigot. They didn't claim to be producing Neapolitan pizzas, although their pizza is definitely thin crust. The topping, though, is more on a par with Mellow Mushroom pizzas. The waitress had mentioned that Giuseppi's had a liberal hand with their cheese, so I asked for light cheese. I'm glad I did, because there was still a bit more than I would normally like. I did a build-your-own, starting with just cheese and adding green peppers, onions and jalapenos. All in all the results were quite tasty, and I didn't leave any scraps behind. Susan ordered a straight forward bowl of rigatoni with marinara sauce. She said it was very tasty, and she added a few pepper flakes to perk it up a little. Again a point for the waitress. Susan had said she hoped the servings weren't overly large since she was just hungry, not famished. The waitress mentioned that she could order a lunch portion which was smaller than the dinner serving. She did so, and it was perfect. Overall it was a very pleasant meal.

Ordered some pizzas and subs to go. The pizza was edible. The eggplant sandwich had no taste. The other subs were ok, but seemed to be sloppily put together. The restaurant is more of a sports bar now.

The food was amazing and so was the service. I got the pizza and the crust was nice and crisp. My mom had the roast beef sub and loved it. I highly recommend this place.

My family and I visited this establishment on our first night of vacation at Hilton Head and really enjoyed our meal. The food was great all the way around and the service was very good. The location is ideal and they provide games on the outside that keeps young kids busy while waiting to be seated. I highly recommend.Thanks so much for the great feedback! We had pizza delivered to our condo...we were told it would take an hour and it did, but it was still hot! Don't get that very often! It was very tasty and the vegetables on the pizza were fresh! Would definitely have Dough Boys again!!!!
