I'm not a big fan of Domino's, but that changed yesterday afternoon when I ordered online from the Domino's just off E. Lincoln at Broadway in Escondido. Ordering online was fairly fast, and allowed me to claim the coupon for the 3 topping large pizza for S7.99. I ordered pepperoni, sausage and mushrooms, paid online and drove to the location behind a car dealership and next to a 7-11 on Broadway. The pizza was ready when I got there, took it home, and we enjoyed a freshly baked decent pizza, still hot in the box Even reheated it for lunch today! Best pizza I've had from Domino's in a long time.

This restaurant is in the Escondido Westfield Mall. You can eat in the restaurant or at the bar right outside the restaurant. Hot crusty bread is served to each table with some olive oil and spices. The server brought more bread when ours was gone. My husband and I shared a Waldorf whacked salad the The Works pizza. We were happy with both of them. We really like the sausage on the pizza. Service was good.

Pizza Amore is not much to look at but the pizza was very good. The plastic booth seats were uncomfortable and the pizza is served with thin papers plates and plastic utensils. The prices were reasonable (how about a 14" pepperoni pizza for $5.00?) with plenty of coupons available on their website. We had a large pizza with the works and two cans of soda for less than $20.00 and had two slices left for lunch. Will probably come back but will take our order to go.

Arrived around 4:30 on Friday and we were the only ones for awhile. Michelle (super friendly and personable) waited on us. Ordered chicken Marsala and it was enough for two. Took the rest home. FRESH! FRESH! FRESH! EVERYTHING!! Bread, salad and their tiramisu was superb. Very fresh and light. If I lived closer, I would come here on a weekly basis. If I had three thumbs thatâs the rating I would give it.

A friend of mine who used to live in Escondido told me this was her favorite haunt. So my expectations were pretty high going in. I was standing in line waiting to order a pizza while my husband used the men's room. When he returned, I asked him if he wanted a salad. He told me not to order any uncooked food here based on the filthy condition of the bathroom. Talk about an appetite killer! This is really unfortunate because the "Killer" Super Specialty pizza was exceptional. Also, if you're into all things alien, you'll get a real kick out of the mishmash of kitschy ET themed items on display. But when you're in the restaurant business, you have to run a clean establishment. So I really wish I could recommend this place, but I can't.
