My husband and I were here on Saturday, September 7th and our friend came and joined us. We all had an AMAZING time! There was a wait for a table and both bars (inside and outside) were full so we ventured out into the garden and it was FABULOUS! There were NO crowds, great bar with excellent service and the ambiance was FANTASTIC! We had to keep delaying our lunch reservation because we were so happy out there in the garden, we wanted to stay out there longer and we went back out there after lunch. Lunch with Laura serving us was excellent. It was a full restaurant and they were busy but Laura was so attentive, sweet and engaging. She made an already fun day even more delightful. The food was delicious and so were our drinks. Laura was GREAT! Thank you for a wonderful day!Thank you Anna for the detailed feedback and the amazing rating. So great to hear about your experience and I will share with you server Laura and celebrate her excellence. Can't wait till your next visit, see you soon.

Four of us ate dinner on a Wednesday night - when the wine from the regular wine card is half price. So we had two bottles! The tables are close together, more akin to a New York or a Parisian restaurant, and that can lead to a neighboring table intruding on the enjoyment of the evening - which was the case for use until a loud mouthed party left. The food ingredients were apparently of high quality, the preparation sophisticated and the presentation world class. All of us enjoyed our various selections and the portion size was well managed, enough to satisfy but not so as to over indulge. There is a bar counter towards the rear of the restaurant that we have never seen used, but it could presumably serve as a waiting area at busy times as the doorway leads directly into the restaurant. Street parking can be problematic and one has often to drop off at the front door and then go search for a parking space.

Being a coffee drinker, I did not know what to expect when my wife asked me to do afternoon tea. I was impressed. The staff was friendly and helpful for this first timer. The food serving sizes are small (bite size) and there is a good selection but it is about the ambience and the tea.

We grabbed supper here while visiting the area. There is free off-street parking and the wait staff are friendly however, the food is a little pricey and it may not be to everyone's liking. The miso vinagrette on the house salad was largely tasteless and it was like eating grass with very little apple or almonds to be found. The creamed collard greens were also a strange mixture and not very good at all. My wife said her vegetarian dish was very good. The fried chicken was very good but the portion did not rate the price. Overall, I guess I would rate this place 'very good' however, it is not someplace I would visit again due to the price and type of food.
