We recently went to Joey garlics and had a really good dinner. Itâs not my choice for authentic Italian they do have better than average Italian food. The service was good there were seats available we didnât have to wait in the handicap access was excellent. A young woman was saving two seats at the bar for friends, which really is nonsense. Bartenders didnât want to interject.Thank you so much for visiting! I couldn't be happier to hear you enjoyed your dinner with us! I'm sorry if your experience was anything less than perfect in the bar area. Our bar is self-seating, and I apologize if that put a damper on your visit. I hope we will get another chance to welcome you back for another delicious meal!

When I moved to Cromwell I searched in ever widening circles for the best pizza. After trying several targets I arrived at Freddy's way across town. Wow, great pizza. Crispy crust and loaded with ingredients. Grinders are so-so. Friday night staff is fun and friendly. Not really much of a restaurant, but just right for take-out. Arrive back home, slide pizza onto pre-heated stone, open a beer and settle down to a game with friends. Yes!Rick

Tucked in the plaza is the most amazing place! My husband had the âTomâ Burger and I will venture to say that it is the best burger the area has to offer. Medium rare and cooked to perfection, hand made and what a flavor it had! Along with fabulous pizza and burgers they now have Gyro love which is American Mediterranean Fusion at its finest! Nothing like this in the area. Homemade pitas that are outstanding and hummus is amazing. Wide selection of foods, too many to list. Take out, delivery, etc. This place is too good to miss! The interior is warm and inviting and extremely creative as well. Donât just take my word for it but try it yourself! You wonât be disappointed. Did I forget to mention the wonderful service? This is for sure our new favorite place.

First timer and I was very happy. Had their roast beef grinder and it was huge alot of meat fresh bread. The service was great. They have a large slection of meals they all look wonderful.Place was very clean and bright. The help was very friendly.Will try it again

We love West Side Pizza, if you like Greek pizza you will too! First off the family is wonderful and loves to get to know its customers and they remember you every time you come in!! The pizza is delicious and the amount of toppings is fantastic they do not skimp on the toppings trust me!! Also have Italian meals, salads, breads. wine, beer. Prices are very reasonable. The quality of the food, prices and great service every time makes this a frequent stop. This is not some fancy place just great food, great service, and hometown feel!!!

We're not usually that big on Italian restaurants, but this was a great discovery. Seemed very quiet; maybe it was just the midweek night. Very amiable waitress, and the giant pieces of lasagna were awesome. More than enough to share, although G added a side of sausage, which was also excellent. Homemade breads and extra sauce for dipping. I can't speak for the fish, steak, pizza... but judging by the meals we had I would bet everything here would be good. We'll definitely be back.

We were visiting family in the area, and our favorite pizza place across the street was closed, so we thought we'd give Cromwell Pizza a try. It was extremely busy for a Tuesday evening, both eat-in and take-away customers. It actually seemed to be more than the staff could handle. They were really hustling, to the point of getting some orders confused, and it seemed that they were trying to juggle oven space for so many pizzas. They could have taken ours out a bit sooner; it was at the point of being burnt. It wasn't bad, but not great either.Thank you for your review. The pizza by the slice was thin and super flavored, the pepperoni was the real kind. Salads were mega sized and so was the pesto chicken panini. Service was great despite being super busy. We ate outside and main Street Middletown was pleasant. Will come back.

I ordered a panini [actually went half-and-half with companion to to taste two]. They are enormous. Thick crusty bread, think sliced meat, cheese and sauces - all add up. The pastrami Reuben and the southwest turkey were both great. Having said that, a warning, this place is typical of so many American restaurants - give you more than you want [and should eat] and charge you accordingly. Unfortunately, this is the business model we have created by our 'love' of either 1]eating too much or 2]feeling happy when we get a doggy bag. Regardless, one delicious panini is enough for two people.
