Teal fairly new spot in downtown Bethesda. The formula is super simple and right to the point.Your order and pay at the counter, they give you a number to place on the table of your choosing and before you know delicious ceviches and crazy good super fresh tacos are brought to you. Your eyes get happy, your mouth gets excited and your taste buds hit the roof.Great beers on tap and a bunch of other drinksAll that for a very reasonable price.Who could ask for more ?

MI Rancho

I'm pretty picky about tex-mex food, keep that in mind. Ordered the plate with cheese enchiladas, tamale and taco. Was good, not great. I prefer Mexican cheese over cheddar, honestly, they put too much cheese in the enchiladas. Tamale was small and almost no filling, taco was a plain old taco. Was pricey fro what you get, $20+ with a soda. Chips were fresh, salsa very mild. Had to ask for tortillas, which were good.

Guapo's has several locations around the DC region, including one on K St NW at Washington Harbour. The Tenleytown location on Wisconsin is closest to us. It has good seating outside for warm summer and fall evenings. The thin chips and salsa are great. We had the spicy guacamole served with thicker corn chips was excellent. We had some crispy tacos and a salad. The rice and beans served with the tacos were very good. Service is quick and the food is reliable good.

We came here strictly by chance. They have a great lunch special--$20/person--for all the tapas you want! Including delicious flan and churros. We split 7--bacon covered dates, tomato bread with serrano ham and manchengo cheese, meat empanadas, fried calamari, carne assada, asperagus and spicy meatballs. All very good. Highly recommend. Uncle Julio's

Very busy popular place in Bethesda. Unfortunately, food is only marginal. Frozen Margarita was decent. Chips are way too thin and break in any side except the over-roasted, roasted salsa. Table-side guacamole was poorly prepared and under spiced. Absolutely worst enchiladas I have ever had...hard and tasteless...small portion of beans with dry rice. Fajitas looked good and should have ordered those instead. Noisy and overpriced...will search elsewhere for good Tex-Mex in the DC area.

Gringos & Mariachis

We visited Bethesda and found Gringos & Mariachis to be very authentic Mexican food. The Staff was also quite friendly & quick. We will return again. Besides the food, they have quite a list of creative & unique drinks. We asked for some adjustments to some drinks, like replacing tequila for mezcal, and they gladly accommodated our requests. Net, very worthy experience.
