My husband and adult daughter ate here on our last night in Quebec City. The hosts were lovely, very attentive and friendly. We shared a pitcher of their homemade sangria loaded with fresh fruits and it was delicious, as was each of our meals. It's located about a 20-minute walk outside of Old Quebec but it was a nice walk, in a neighborhood full of restaurants and shops, and close to the historic Plains of Abraham park. I highly recommend it!

We had been walking for a couple of miles exploring the highly touted Grand Allee restaurant area which we found to be disappointing since we were too early for many places to be open. We were on the prowl for dinner so on the way back to our hotel we passed by Bachir and checked the reviews finding them favorable. We were the first customers for the afternoon so received prompt service. We both ordered the combination chicken and beef-lamb plates with rice, two salads, hummus, and pita bread. We found the food to be tasty and the price reasonable. We would definitely return if ever back in QC.

Overall, we had a great experience at this casual restaurant. Outdoor seating is limited and there was no restroom to be found. Despite that, the food was delicious. Probably the best pita bread I have ever tasted. Definitely recommend the lamb or the beef (over the chicken). Go for full toppings on your sandwich and enjoy!

If you like fish, youâll love this restaurant. We visited based on reviews, and it totally lived up to expectations. The food was EXCELLENT, the wine recommendation perfect, and the service superb. We booked for inside (recommended) but chose to sit outside as it was such a lovely evening. Unfortunately the loud Spanish music from next door somewhat spoiled the ambiance, and next time weâll sit elsewhere. And there will be a next time..... we might even go to Quebec to make it happen!
