I had a business lunch in september. The Food is really excellent, good quality and fresh. The service was efficient and very friendly. Excellent quality price as well.

We came here for dinner one thursday evening at month end and I was lucky to have called before and book a table. We arrived early but eventually people started coming in and the restaurant got full. On weekends they open the adjacent restaurant room, otherwise you have your food at the bar. The dishes are traditional basque local favourites, like ham, grilled steak or fish, mushroom omelette, to be washed down with cidre or Rioja red wine. Quality of the food is excellent and the price level very reasonable, which explains why it is so popular.

We enjoyed the restaurant's ambiance, food and service. It was lunch time so the place was packed but it didn't feel like it. The service was very good, friendly, and the food was very tasty. The artisan burger is delicious! And the torrija with coffee ice cream is a must. Totally going back!

Sala original por la decoración, con unas espectaculares vistas que rellenan el exterior y el interior, aunque es opinable el acierto del diseño y disposición de las mesas. Carta amplia para el sitio y el número de habitaciones. Productos de calidad, raciones adecuadas, preparaciones sencillas pero satisfactorias, presentaciones mejorables. Servicio con amabilidad, proximidad y suficiente eficiencia, aunque con un nivel claramente inferior al de un hotel de 5 estrellas. Correcta experiencia tanto en cenas como en los desayunos, pero sin sorprender. Precios caros, en parte justificables por la ubicación del local, pero aún asà es difÃcil bajar de los 50/60 ⬠persona, sin vino ni cafés.

Good value, and a lovely village of small roads and gorgeous alpine style houses. Lots of local food available. Warm welcome from the staff. There is a bar and restaurant on site. Food was good at around â¬23 for the set menu, but good choice of mains, starters and postres.There is bunk rooms as well as apartments.

Fuimos a cenar 2 veces y ofrecen un servicio eficiente. Tienen platos combinados, bocadillos, hamburguesas. El mayor problema que vimos por la zona es que el pan es bastante malo. Dicho esto los bocadillos que preparan aquà están bien relación calidad/precio. El local está limpio.

Stopped here at 3.15 after a mountain walk. The 11-Euro menu was great value, with beautiful fresh ingredients, lovingly cooked, and excellent friendly service. We learned that it is a family restaurant that opened in December and it deserves to succeed. It is in a wonderful location, at the centre of the village, opposite the pelota court. We plan to return for the weekend menu before setting off for home (London!) on Sunday.

Great place for nature and fun. And the food is really decent. BUT WHAT IS IT WITH THE LOAD POP MUSIC in the rest!!!!! Seriously spoiling the nature experience!!!! Then at least find some ambient music that fit the place instead of the latest American pop hits. Really a shame!

Set in a beautiful village this restaurant is accessed through the bar, both are wonderful with a strong rural style. We stopped for a coffee and decided to eat on the spur of the moment. A late lunch. We were not disappointed with the fried beef fillet or the beef & vegetable casserole dish. Both were perfect. This place seemed to be very popular with the locals and we sensed we were the only non- Basques there. Not surprising considering the standard of food. Simple but cooked to perfection. We ordered in Spanish as I sensed that English was pointless with our pleasant waitress. Pointing at the menu helped too! We were sorry not to get back for a second visit but it was not to happen. Although it is in Navarra, this is deep in the heart of Basque country.
