This is an unassuming little place with patio dining near the Cathedral and Toulouse Museum. It's on a road lined with little restaurants, but of all those, it seemed to have the most interesting selection at reasonable prices. A small issue... The menus are in French and the waiters only speak French, so English only speakers may need help from Google Translator. The easiest thing is to order from the 3-course menu and choose fish, poultry, pork or beef. After that, you will be presented with fascinating plates of fine food.

We went out for a Friday night to try this restaurant recommended by my stepson. A simple menu and a hot night meant we both chose salads. My roquefort and walnut was absolutely enormous, with fruit, various leaves and ample cheese and nuts too. Absolutely perfect and so beautiful too. Samir, the proprietor was friendly and enthusiastic and Alex looked after us well. The jazz trio were good, happy, friendly and we all enjoyed ourselves so that I was amazed to realise that we had actually spent 3.5 hours there - and the price (so my husband told me) was very reasonable. Thank you for a lovely evening.

What a find it was. Alex was a real showman and his restaurant was great. The fish was beautifully prepared and presented and Alex as the server made us feel very special. A little hard to find, but well worth the effort.

My family and I had lunch here.The restaurant has been set up like a beach bar,with sand and floating lilos. The lunch was the Prix Fix one,however there was only one choice of starter and one dessert. The starter was a charcuterie and dessert wafer thin cut pineapple with caramelised brown sugar. There were two choices of mains, Bavette steak or white fish. I chose the steak,the 2 pieces I had were quite fatty and had gristle. They were accompanied with vegetables and what I think was a sweet potato puree.I did feel dissapointed as at â¬20 per person it did not live up to a standard I had received in other restaurants in Alibi at lunch time.

We chanced on this place when walking round Albi at lunchtime. My wife said "Chinese? no way!" but when we saw it was tagines etc we thought we'd give it a try. A customer helped us select a table outside. We enjoyed lamb cutlets with frites, tomatoes and beans with a pichet of rosé and it was a tasty lunch, watching the world go by. Not expensive.
