This is an unassuming little place with patio dining near the Cathedral and Toulouse Museum. It's on a road lined with little restaurants, but of all those, it seemed to have the most interesting selection at reasonable prices. A small issue... The menus are in French and the waiters only speak French, so English only speakers may need help from Google Translator. The easiest thing is to order from the 3-course menu and choose fish, poultry, pork or beef. After that, you will be presented with fascinating plates of fine food.

Albi as a continental city doesn't have any place to eat GOOD fish, (fresh and well prepared), until now. "Mon jardin secret" oppened last july and it's is a very good restaurant. Decoration is sober but cosy and not too big, plus there is a terrace where you will enjoy sunny days. As we went last week-end, we couldn't go outside.But the room is comfortable enought to have a good time. Fishes where just perfect, perfect size, perfect cook, perfect sauce.Not that much choice for dessert but it garantis their are home made.Location would be the only negative comment, but as the same time you won't have any problem to park.Un nouveau restaurant qui sert un poisson délicieux, cuisson parfaite, sauce parfaite et portion parfaite, pas trop de choix en dessert, mais ça ne fait que garantir le "fait maison". La salle est simple mais agréable. La localisation excentrée n'est pas idéale bien que.. facile pour se garer, pas trop de touristes!! Très très bon endroit à tester et à recommander

What a find it was. Alex was a real showman and his restaurant was great. The fish was beautifully prepared and presented and Alex as the server made us feel very special. A little hard to find, but well worth the effort.

We had the 3 course lunch for 15 euro per person. It included a choice of an entree of a dozen beautifully fresh oysters or warm duck salad - both were delicious. The main was a choice of fish or beef fillet - again very nice indeed and large meals. The fillet had a foil gras sauce which was outstanding. Dessert was also good. Canât fault this. An unusual location by the local public swimming pool but that doesnât detract from the food.
