The tables outside run next to the restaurant down a little side road, very nice and a bit different. Good service and an excellent recommendation from our waiter to have the beef cheek in red wine. This dish was really nice, and enjoyed with a good glass of red. If you want excellent food away from the seafront give this place a try.

We really enjoyed eating at this small Italian in the centre of Frigiliana. The pizzas were all freshly made, tasty and good value, and the staff were friendly and helpful. We would definitely go back again and recommend it for simple, good value Italian food.

Recommened to book to enjoy this rarity for Nerja which is a restaurant run and staffed by Italians serving fresh home made pasta. We had Carbonara with spaghetti and Marinara with fettuchni which were both delicious. As is their custom our meal was rounded off with a digestive of limoncello and moura.Thank you very much for your kind words, we are happy that you liked it here. Hope to see you soon

Tucked away in a side street is this small charming Italian restaurant. Warm welcome and hospitality throughout the evening. The menu contains a good range of Italian classics. The food was excellent and we hope to return to try some more dishes from the menu.

Visited early evening on the first day of our holiday in the area.The restaurant was busy - always a good sign!The welcome was friendly and the menu extensive. We enjoyed starters and main courses. The stand out dishes for us were the cheese rolls, mussels, and swordfish.Great meal and great service.

During our short stay in Nerja my family and I ate here twice. The menu, like the restaurant, is small but the dishes are made of such good quality ingredients and beautifully home cooked. The ravioli stuffed with buffalo mozzarella and cooked in sage and butter was perfect. It's simple and beautiful italian food and not at all expensive.The couple who run the Piadina are friendly and kind and they are genuinely pleased when you enjoy their food. This is Italian cooking at it's best.

Went without a reservation after recommendation by friends and we werenât disappointed. We started with bread and an amuse-bouche of creamed chickpeas. For mains we ordered 2 pork shanks and a lasagne, all three meals were nicely presented and the quality of the food was excellent. The portion size, especially the pork, were huge and meant there was no room for deserts. A cappuccino, two bottles of water and a G&T and our food came to a very reasonable â¬60. The staff were very friendly and the service was excellent. La Bottega rightly sits high in the restaurant ratings for Nerja.
