The sandwiches here are delightful!! They are freshly made to order and they have a nice selection! I love the chicken cutlets with mutz and broccoli rabe! They make great Rice balls too but they sell out of them quickly.

Loved La Cambusa! On Sundays, they serve "Nonna's Sunday Dinner' which are platters of rigatoni pasta, meatballs, sausage, braciole and pork ribs (includes a house or Caesar salad also) for $22 per person. The "gravy" is outstanding, and the meats are absolutely, authentically delicious (we think the braciole had pignoli nuts and raisins in the filling). We shared a light, fluffy cannoli and some delicious tiramisu for dessert. We will definitely be returning to try some of the other dishes!
Friends told us about this place but never tried before, now i see the reviews are the same as we feel.Ordered a couple of nights ago very pleasant girl on the phone, helpful and not rushes as some places are.Our delivery cane within the promised 20 minutes, the delivery man was the nicest I have ever encountered,I plan to stop by their place within the next week just to give him a larger tip.Oh the pizza was perfect ,not greasy and still warm. This will now be our go to place!

This restaurant was recommended by a local resident. When I entered the restaurant the owner of the restaurant was taking orders. He was so friendly and engaged in great conversation. He offered my daughter a free fountain drink. The pizza was so good we returned the next day again.

Giovanni's is now Al Dente (same ownership, we were told). In an area flooded with Italian restaurants, we found the food to be well above average (basic stuff, nothing fancy), the prices reasonable, and the service surprisingly good for a crowded Saturday night. Several reviewers complained that they don't accept credit cards, but they took ours with no argument at all, so I don't know what that's about. For a small, crowded place in a strip mall, they hold their own quite well against a lot of Italian competition. (The space next door is vacant, so perhaps they will consider enlarging...) BYOB.

I was born and lived in Jersey most of my life. always looking for good pizza outside of NYC. This place makes nice thin crust pizza that will satisfy you. Rest of the stuff is ok. I continue to get pizza from here.

Mario's is an ole school Italian restaurant with authentic food. Everything in this establishment is home made and very tasty. The pizzas are great as are their soups, pasta dishes and desserts. The establishment is small with some indoor and outdoor seating. The owners seem to have a regular clientele and are quite personable. It's ole school all the way, with ole customer service, with ole school class, with ole school warmth and ole school prices. I really like this place and highly recommend it.

Taste the finest pasta and salad at Que Pasta. We're a family-owned restaurant serving Bergen and Passaic Counties.Saddle Brook, NJ
Saddle Brook Italian cuisine is basically pizza parlors, so when I read the reviews of Que Pasta, I thought I would try it for lunch. What went right? The men's room is very clean and good size. The food is inexpensive but you are getting what you pay for. What went wrong? Start with the service. I walked in for lunch and the person responsible for seating customers continued with his book keeping for the better part of minute before acknowledging my presence. The solo waitress then took five minutes to find me and did not introduce herself. Just asked if I knew what I wanted. I asked for a pasta dish plus a glass of water with no ice. I got the water with ice and sent it back. The pasta arrived and was literally swimming in vodka sauce. Now I personally do not mind that but most customers might prefer a somewhat lighter touch on the sauce. I then had to wait a few minutes for the check at a time when maybe there were ten people in the restaurant. Not a good dining experience.

Iâve been traveling to NJ for business for 25 years. (I was just informed by just one local hotel that Iâve stayed 36 nights.) I discovered GoodFellas early on, and have been returning with fond regularity.GoodFellas is always a client favorite, and they assume with pleasure that I will make reservations there. We always leave pleased. The specials are indeed special; my colleagues had the stuffed double veal chop, and loved it. Me, I always choose the chicken saltimbocca - love it! The potato wedges were hot out of the oven... simple pleasures do go noticed. The wait staff stay regular, and are always helpful and professional. And, even though Iâm not a regular nor local, Sammy is always helpful and welcoming. My in-laws are Long Island Italians (my wife actually has an Italian passport), so Iâve been treated to a variety of great local spots. If you too want a great local spot, go out of your way for GoodFellas. Unfortunately, due to my pending retirement, this old did will miss this old favorite.(And oh... try the cannoli; youâre welcome.)
