The food here was actually better than any I've had in Italy (I still can't believe this). The best bruschetta I've ever had, my partner had the ribs which were the best he's ever had, and my pasta was delicious and cooked to perfection. What I loved most though was the ambience in this restaurant, it feels like the staff are your family and cooking specifically for your pleasure. I loved this place and will go back any time I visit Mudgee, in actual fact I'm planning a trip asap so I can revisit. Highly recommend.

Being a fine day after a very cold week, we decided to take a drive and have lunch. We were going to have Lunch in Sofala, but were surprised at the way the owner of the cafe treated her staff so rudely, so left and decided we would try our luck in Mudgee.We did not have time to make a booking, so decided we would just try our luck. Had heard great things about Di Lusso, so drove in to find the place was packed with diners, even at after 2pm. We were offered a lovely table in the garden, and also were told we were more than welcome for our 2 dogs to sit with us.Although there was a slight delay for our meal, it was more than enjoyable just sitting in the beautiful surrounds. Having recently returned from Italy we had the antipasto pizza for an entree, and it was excellent. My wife had the roast vegetable stack and I tried the "Lollipop Lamb Cutlets" and we both thoroughly enjoyed them. As I was driving, did not try the wines, but a friend told me they are from old Italian vines and thoroughly recommended them. So definitely look forward to trying them next time we are in Mudgee!

We enjoyed a fabulous meal. The limited choices on the menu was perfect as it ensured that each meal was sensational. The front of house staff were enthusiastic, energetic and eager to please. This restaurant is another great addition to our town.Highly recommended.

We had lychee ice cream and peach iced tea with bubble. Very yummy and unique. We got to see the girl making ice cream rolled first time in our lives. Highly recommended for a quality dessert place
