ここのイタリアンのコースが驚くほど安い。夕食でも二人でワインを飲んでも20000円で足りるほど。地元の最高の素材を生かして、和の食材でも美味しく仕上げる。イタリアンって、オリーブオイルとガーリックの臭いで食べさせると勘違いしている店が多い中、ここのはシンプルで、飽きのこない味で、最後まで一気に食べさせてくれる。行くべき店の一つ。

今日は、初めての車検を受けにトヨタに行って、終わったのが12時前だったのでランチに行く事になり、スマホで探すと竹原の忠海長浜にあるカフェで海が見たいと言うので出発。ナビをセットすると所要時間1時間30分、しかし、ず～と海沿いが続いているので1時間のドライブと思って行って見ると、結構車が停まっていました。案内された席は窓側でなく、空席になった窓側に移るというと却下されたのには驚いた。ランチの時間外で空席が目立ったのに、日光が当たり暑いからという理由?仕方なく、小海老のアラビアータとピザホクスターナとブレンドコーヒーとキャラメルマキアートを注文。アラビータは若干辛口だったが慣れると美味しかった。でも交通の便が悪いからかランチを頼むと飲み物100円値引になりますが、二人で2千円強は若干高めなのは仕方ないかも。手造りデザートもあるらしく美味しそうだった。店内から見える瀬戸内海からは、阿波島や大崎、左手に大三島が見えました。店の人に聞くと天気の良い日には今治が見えるそうで、瀬戸内海と島々が一望できます。

白竜湖畔に建つ洋風建築の道の駅です。美しい道の駅で、中では石窯焼きピザを食べることができました。イタリアンが食べられるレストランもおすすめです！！

You might be excused for forgetting that you weren't in some uber hip warehouse off the San Francisco Bay or in a loft in Tribecca or the Meat Packing District in New York, because this the the vibe this place exudes..... Open kitchen producing tasty grilled and fire roasted fare with that authentic attention to detail which makes you feel you are in Spain or Italy or an American Grille House depending upon the course and dish ordered, while featuring locally sourced fine ingredients, beef, chicken, vegetables. Daily specials featuring the inspiration of the chef.Limited but impressive wine list of generally good value.

Pizza was very traditional and baked in about 2 minutes. The two of us ordered one to start and then had another. Staff amenable to customization for vegetarian partner. Both were very good and hit the spot for a change. Drinks are reasonably priced (Aperol cocktail was quite refreshing) and finished with a Limoncello and Grappa. English menu and helpful staff made it an easy and fun dinner.
