One starter; mussels just ok. Nothing special about the sauce. Not tasty. One octopus average. One tuna ok but with almost no contorni. Cannoli siciliani very good. The space by it self is nothing special. Small and not cozy. The table service is nice.We are a small marine tavern in the oldest neighborhood of the city in a 190-year-old palace. With the fresh tuna in sesame crust (300gr, 18 euro) we also put a small salad and we do it as a courtesy, because we also have a salad plate (⬠7.50) that if the client wants, he can order without problem, we are here for that: prepare dishes to sell and this is sometimes forgotten when you go to a restaurant. If a customer wants a salad, then ask for it and pay it. regards

After reading such good reviews we went here for lunch. It was fantastic! A surprise menu with dishes to share, just for 20 euro per person. More then enough!Really nice food, nice wine and everything for a real good price. We were happily surprised when seeing the check at the end :-) The service was also very enthusiastic and friendly. A hidden pearl, I would say!Thank you for your review, it is a pleasure for us to make our customers happy.

After an hour enveloped in throngs of tourists, this restaurant, located in a pleasant square a few minutes walk from the main axis in Valencia offered a welcome respite. The food ands service were outstanding - thank you to Mario and Irene for your gracious hospitality, your suggestions and the wonderful food you served! An interesting southern Italian menu with a variety of innovative ways of serving pasta.

We really enjoyed the pizza we ordered here. We ordered full pizzas and then took them home, but we also saw a staff member delivering pizzas on his bike. Their focaccia bread is especially good.

We loved this restaurant and the food and friendly atmosphere. The pasta and pizzas we ordered were fantastic and the young lady who served us was great! She had lived in Australia and we chatted about her experiences there. Lovely restaurant!

We were very disappointed. We took the degustation menu with selected wines, and with speeds of lightning dishes and 'corresponding' wines (which didn't really match) were 'served', which means simply added to whatever was still at the table. At one point we had 2 dishes and 3 glasses of wine. It was ridiculous. There are way better options, even for the price.. No explanation about food.We were quick because, as we discussed before sitting, we need a table en in an hour and a half and and we have left you half an hour more, modifying all the reserves of the second shift. The tasting menu has 4 dishes+dessert (19.50â¬) and the wine pairing are 8⬠for person. We believe that wines are well pared and 5 dishes every 25 minutes it's ok. We are sorry if you need more time and if you don't like the wine pairing.RegardsElisa

We make the effort to find the deli because of TA reviews and it was worth it.If you are having trouble finding it, go to the information desk in the centre of the market and they will point you in the right direction.Plenty of veggie options as it a Italian deli and you can get a wine to go with your food before midday Very friendly service, the man behind the counter spoke very good English and he was giving away free samples of a veggie lasagne.Two small pizzas, a good size portion of pasta & two wines for 12⬠bargin!You can get dessert next door as well...lunch sorted!

Italian restaurant on the main drag in one of Valencia's suburbs. It is popular with locals and Brits and you have to book if you want an outside table. The staff here are exceptionally friendly and will make your evening enjoyable and fun. Pizza is the main item here and they are exceptional in quality and size. It might be an idea to share one because none of us could finish them. Pasta is quite exceptional and my Vulcan special was full of traditional Italian flavours. Salads are fresh and beautifully dressed and seasoned. With warm bread and a garlic dip there's nothing better. Good range of desserts and excellent coffee. Second visit to Valencia and I wasn't going to miss going to my favourite restaurant whilst I was there. After the exceptional food there before it was a most. Well I wasn't disappointed the food was amazing !!!!! Traditional Proper Italian cuisine at it's best. Danilo the chef was again in top form serving deliciously cooked food. Amanda was as welcoming as though we were old friends. What an absolute delight to revisit. Oh and the homemade chocolate ( gluten free) pudding was the icing on the cake ⤠Don't go to Valencia without trying this amazing restaurant it's a total jewel in the city.Thanks for coming back to Anómalo and for your lovely review! Location - a short taxi ride from the center of town - but worth seeking out . Atmosphere- spacious, relaxed , very nice . Plenty of space between tables . The service - amazing - all the servers were super friendly and helpful . The food - excellent. I loved the ham with truffle, egg and asparagus dish . The stuffed sardines and the thick seafood soup were great as well . The octopus with mango sauce was good but perhaps not the best octopus Iâve ever had. Overall a very pleasant dining experience.
