Our hotel tried all day to make a reservation, but the phone was constantly busy. So, without a reservation, we were welcomed, shown a nice table and served by smiling attentive staff. The small outside entrance hides a beautifully appointed surprisingly large multi-story eating area. Our meal was super, the wine was delicious (and reasonably priced) and the whole experience was totally top-shelf. Really, this is a professionally run restaurant with warm small-town feeling. Our whole experience was five star all the way.

We were very disappointed. We took the degustation menu with selected wines, and with speeds of lightning dishes and 'corresponding' wines (which didn't really match) were 'served', which means simply added to whatever was still at the table. At one point we had 2 dishes and 3 glasses of wine. It was ridiculous. There are way better options, even for the price.. No explanation about food.We were quick because, as we discussed before sitting, we need a table en in an hour and a half and and we have left you half an hour more, modifying all the reserves of the second shift. The tasting menu has 4 dishes+dessert (19.50€) and the wine pairing are 8€ for person. We believe that wines are well pared and 5 dishes every 25 minutes it's ok. We are sorry if you need more time and if you don't like the wine pairing.RegardsElisa

Opened in May 2007, the Aljuzama restaurant is named after an aromatic herb traditionally used in North Africa for infusions and dishes in honor of Arab cuisine and culture. But the history of Aljuzama in Valencia dates back four years ago, when the same

The menu is very good, it was hard to decide what to eat! There are plenty of good vegetarian choices tooThe Tabouli is the best I have ever had, although I wish they'd offered a smaller portion - but I took what I couldn't eat home with me it was so good. The cous-cous was also excellent, highly recommended. The restaurant is very nicely decorated and furnished, very clean and there is a pleasant atmosphere.I will return here regularly

Italian restaurant on the main drag in one of Valencia's suburbs. It is popular with locals and Brits and you have to book if you want an outside table. The staff here are exceptionally friendly and will make your evening enjoyable and fun. Pizza is the main item here and they are exceptional in quality and size. It might be an idea to share one because none of us could finish them. Pasta is quite exceptional and my Vulcan special was full of traditional Italian flavours. Salads are fresh and beautifully dressed and seasoned. With warm bread and a garlic dip there's nothing better. Good range of desserts and excellent coffee. Nightmare parking so maybe try the mega shopping center up the road.Muchas gracias por tu comentario y nos complace saber que nos aprecian también fuera de España.Te esperamos siempre y cuando quieras.Un saludo

We had 3 nights in Valencia and an 3 excellent dinners. This though was the pick of the bunch. We chose the Rodrigo tasting menu with wine pairing, 15 courses of originality and sheer delight. The staff were attentive without being intrusive and the speed and flow of the meal was well managed. Each course was beautifully presented as an individual work of art and all introduced us to tastes and textures we'd never experienced before. Almost impossible to pick a favourite but if pushed i'd go for the rabbit, with mustard, pistachio sauce and pickles mushrooms and my husband for the red mullet with enoki mushroom and green beans. The wines were perfectly matched an carefully introduced. I honestly can't find fault, this is up there with the best restaurants i have ever been to and considering the quality, excellent value. If you're visiting Valencia i would highly recommend treating yourself!

We booked this restaurant for our wedding anniversary while staying in Valencia. On the morning of our meal, we got an email/whats app message to confirm our dietary needs. My wife is allergic to shellfish, which I already confirmed to them, and I re-confirmed this again when replying to their message. When we arrived at the restaurant, they reconfirmed that they knew my wife was allergic to shellfish. We both ordered the ten-course "Ricard Camarena" tasting menu but were then advised that my wife couldn't have it due to her allergy and they could not substitute some of the dishes with a non-shellfish option. She was advised to have the seven course "Synthesis" tasting menu. This resulted in her having nothing to eat for long periods which is not acceptable. We have been in other fine dining establishments before and they were always able to accommodate my wife. This restaurant was told numerous times about her allergy but were completely inflexible and unable to meet the needs of the diner. The FAQs section in their website states that they can adapt their menu if they are given plenty of notice and if the allergy is not too severe. Many people have an allergy to shellfish and it not considered unusual. To compound matters, they then proceeded to give my wife a starter containing squid which can be considered as shellfish with people with a shellfish allergy. They did replace this starter with a second dessert but as with some other courses, I was eating on my own. Ignoring all the above, the food was extremely underwhelming but we did find a nice bottle of wine to try to rescue the night. When we ordered a second bottle, we were told they did not have one so we had to go look for another bottle.Overall, we were extremely disappointed and were glad to leave.

Location - a short taxi ride from the center of town - but worth seeking out . Atmosphere- spacious, relaxed , very nice . Plenty of space between tables . The service - amazing - all the servers were super friendly and helpful . The food - excellent. I loved the ham with truffle, egg and asparagus dish . The stuffed sardines and the thick seafood soup were great as well . The octopus with mango sauce was good but perhaps not the best octopus I’ve ever had. Overall a very pleasant dining experience.

This was not quite what I expected from the reviews but good nonetheless. This little bar is in the student district so is priced accordingly. No frills, but pleasant service and good food. Worryingly cheap wine, but actually quite drinkable! Am sure there are plenty of better tapas bars, but if you want good food at a reasonable price and are not looking for neighbourhood ambiance then this is a find.
