Amalfi Pizzeria Restaurant
We stopped at this recommended Italian restaurant after spending the morning visiting nearby Migration, South Australia and Art Gallery Museums. Greeted by a friendly waitress, we chose a corner table in the rear as the office/university crowd was beginning to arrive at 12;15 PM. Another smiling waitress presented a drink menu and brought a carafe of water along with bread, balsamic vinegar and olive oil. We chose from the place mat menu before using the clean restrooms. My natural oysters arrived just before the hot Hawaiian Pizza. The food was delicious but the noise level was a bit too high between the music and the boisterous diners for normal conversation. It was hard to imagine an enjoyable experience if the restaurant had been full. Paid with my Visa card, ~$25

I have always struggled to find a decent restaurant in Adelaide. It was wet, it was cold, we had no reservations when we stumbled upon the Osteria Oggi just around the corner from our hotel. What a revelation. The place was packed and literally jumping, we were fortunate enough to be given 2 stools to eat at the bar. Many people without reservations were turned away over the course of the night. The food and service were superb and very enhanced by a bar person who clearly knew her stuff. She made my night by deliberately under charging me for a nip of Blair Athol single malt which they apparently have difficulty in selling.Next time we are in Adelaide, I will book well in advance to ensure we get a table

Itâs almost a victim of its own success. It was a really busy Sunday night and it was SO noisy! Our little table of four could barely hear ourselves above the hubbub. I appreciate that itâs a âhappyâ noise, but it was very trying. As far as the food goes, some good, some not so... The pork rib ravioli was declared delicious. I opted for the special pizza - pork belly, tomatoes, cheese. Sounded interesting but it disappointed. The first issue was that the toppings made the base soggy, a mortal sin for pizza. I couldnât pick up a slice without it collapsing and losing the topping. Then the other issue was a lack of flavour. A few scattered cherry tomatoes didnât cut it and nowhere near enough cheese. A good idea lost in execution. Maybe a lesson to stick to the classics. Then the desserts - brilliant! Probably the best tiramisu Iâve had in years. Rich, tasty and a very generous serve. Itâs uber trendy right now. Not sure Iâd rush back.

Our hotel recommended this family restaurant. It had very good pizza with all sorts of toppings we got one that had four different kinds to try. It was all very tasty. We had the draft beer too to go with pizza of course. It was an interesting walk we went right by the bronze pigs in the trash cans. Only in Aussie land.

Wow this is an institution in Adelaide just outside the cbd proper. Great food and service, I can honestly say I left satiated and wanting to return ASAP. Slightly higher cost than the average restaurant meal in Adelaide but As they say - you get what you pay for! Try the parapadelle rabbit rags to die for!

Hutt Street is worth walking end to end- Chianti is among the finest eateries. You come to see (we had breakfast there) the refined local clientele, many older citizens with european aura

Lucky for us it wasn't a footy night as we wouldn't be able to get in, that is what my friend told me. This was a busy restaurant and the staff handled it very well, and has a great atmosphere. We had a table of 10 people and the service was great and friendly and the food was superb!!! I know everyone at our table were pleased with their meals, all of varying choices.

After reading amazing reviews we decided to visit this little restaurant on a Saturday night for a second sitting.stafff were very attentive from the start.they recommended the fiso menu however we were worried it might be too much food so we order things to share. The food we received was all delicious but the highlight was the gorgonzola dolche polenta.it was the best polenta I have ever had.so smooth and creamy and delicious.we also shared a chocolate and nut canolli.the canolli shell was soft and so fresh.i loved this little restaurant and will definitely return next time I travel to Adelaide.

A true authentic Italian style restaurant located at 61 Unley Road Parkside with parking at the rear - restaurant on left hand side heading south from the city .There's a large illuminated sign on restaurant showing location - we were a large group 20+ and we were look after very well - the food was exceptional particularly the lamb shanks !

Welcome to The Messy Tomato. Much of Italian life revolves around the family dinner table. Itâs well known that Italians are deeply versed in the gioie della tavola, or âthe joys of the table.â Perhaps the first thing people think of when they think of It
Visited for breakfast with a friend and got the sharing breakfast platter, was absolutely delightful. The owner was super kind and catered to my friends fish allergies, got a Spanish chorizo instead of salmon and was absolutely to die for! Everything was cooked perfectly and the white truffle sauce on the side was unreal, want more already. Waiters were super catering and friendly, finished the platter off with these sweet French toast, was super tasty! Would definitely return
