Loved this place! Just had the best burger for a very long time, with tender meat and great flavour. Really loved the service and the fact they left me to relax but were there whenever I needed. Had to take some chocolate cake away and other reviewers arenât lying, itâs gorgeous! Would highly recommend for lunch or dinner with both Portugese options and amazing burgers. Great staff and I loved the style of the place :) Unfortunately I donât take photos but just have a look for yourself on your way through Azóia!What a nice surprise meeting you, Kimberley. Happy to know we added peace and quietness to your vacations. And nice food and chocolate cake as well! Hopping to see you again!

All in all a good experience. I've been here several times over the years, with varying degrees of satisfaction. It's not 100% typical Portuguese food (they also have Moussaka and stroganoff, for example) but it's more of a Portuguese home-style type of food, to some extent at least. Last time I was here I had the pork cheeks, which were tasty and in abbundance (came with fries, not on the photo). The staff were nice and service was ok, even though it was a Saturday.I believe overall the quality is ok but maybe adding a bit of salad or vegetables as a side would make the menu lighter and more modern - thus, more appealing.

The place is lovely and you are made to feel at home immediately. The service was one of the highlights. most Michelin star places have good service, this place is better. When we visited in March, we were seated next to these awfully noisy American people. they are loud, started doing video chats in the restaurant, it was annoying. at the end we got a glass of aged port, and an extra desert on the house. really good service. The amuse bouche and the starters were scrumtious. their bread was delicious, so were the deserts. one of the deserts was a work of art. The main courses were good, I wasn't blown away by them, but overall tasty food. I will come back this year for a second try :)

We had to call three times to get our reservation. First two calls were simply hanged up: first because we spoke English, second because we wanted table only for two. Finally, on third attempt, we got our reservation confirmed. What a surprise, when we arrived to the venue and they had neither our reservation nor a free table. During the discussion with the manager, she complained we might have called wrong number. When showing her the number, she said she does not know their phone number, and only when compared with their business card, she agreed, was a right number. In the meantime, we have been passed by two groups, one of six and other of eight people. These were accomodated immediately. Finally, we had no other choice to leave the venue - maybe they are not interested in couples, only larger groups.

Casa Davolta is only three weeks old, but it promises to be one of the nicest restaurants in the Cascais area. The restaurant is owned by Vera, Portuguese, and Javier, Spanish, who have brought their international experience to this cozy and elegant restaurant. The cuisine is international and extremely creative. My wife and I went there with friends a few days ago and we had a kind of experience that you seldom have in a new restaurant. The service is first class, as well as a carefully selected wine list. The prices are fair. We happened upon this restaurant when we couldn't get into the one that was recommended to us. Lovely small dining room with good service. The menu is limited though all the dishes we ordered (4 of us) were excellent. The Iberian pork dish with curry was outstanding!Also, the house wines both red and wine were excellent and a great price. If the menu has choices you think you would like, it's a great option!

We visited here based on a recommendation from where we were staying. We were not disappointed! The food was absolutely delicious, huge huge portions abs a fantastic price too.The menu was extensive - not that great for vegetarians admittedly but meat eaters itâs heaven :) The place itself is lovely inside, almost like a mini castle! We were greeted and seated instantly with bread, cheese, olives and tuna pate brought over (you do pay â¬1.90 for these).My partner had the asparagus risotto which would easily of fed 2 people! I had the sirloin steak and prawn skewer which came with fries and asparagus purée. The steak was cooked perfectly and just melted in your mouth. For only â¬16.50 it was incredible :) Our total bill was only â¬41.70 for the bread, 2 beers, 2 mains and a dessert. Dessert was a crepe with ice cream and hit chocolate sauce :) I cannot recommend this place enough!!!

Absolutely Wonderful. We went for lunch after visiting Palace before Quinta da Regaleira (FUN). Bit difficult to find on phone navigation since itâs up a hill - kept telling us weâd arrived but kept walking in circles. Sweet little place with an excellent staff. While waiting a short time for a table got to see all the dishes coming out of the kitchen & knew what we wanted to order before looking at the menu. The two of us shared the spinach cream,cod soup & double mix plate (cod, octopus & shrimp over spinach & sweet potatoes) so fantastic. 40 ⬠I think. Would go again in a second. A charming place especially in the evenings . Lovely music & atmosphere . Always great profesional welcome by Anabel . The Chef serves great dishes , delicious & well presented . Although a small menu , yet a great variety to satisfy all tastes . My favourite & a must try , is the pate dish as a starter & followed by bitoque ... deserts are great . Saying that all their dishes are delicious . Canât recomend enough . Must reserve .

Food and service was unbelievable. The staff id excellent. They like their jobs and it shows. We had lunch with a group from our nearby church on Tuesday. Food was incredible. We also had a chance to talk with the owner. He and his business are a blessing to the community
