We've been to L'Amagatall for dinner. The menu is in catalan, but the owner/cook was so kind to translate us every single dish in English explaining also how they were prepared. We had soup and tapas. Everything was very delicious and the portions were abundant. I absolutely recommend this restaurant in Cambrils.

Great view of the Mediterranean and the limited menu is outstanding. The 3 vegetable platter is a great starter of humus, sweet corn and beets. The red bean and quinoa burger was excellent and the Heura soy based sandwich was quite tasty. The cheesecake was a perfect finish and of the the 2 Euro Wine canât be beat.

Really good value menu â¬20 , huge plate of Iberia ham, octopus and a Spanish tira misu (which owes little to the Italian original), wine and free liqueur â¬30 total. Recommended.

Owner very friendly and knowledgeable. First class service. Wine beautiful. Damn lemon lovely. Came here quite a few times during our stay. Even our hotel staff think it's a wonderful place. Very accommodating staff, child friendly restaurant with seating inside and outside. Very very good food with really great sangria, aperitifs and paella. Our favourite meal of 5 week European trip. Maitre D spoke English. Service and food was excellent. 2 had the 'special' Calamari menu(on for 2 weeks in October) and 2 ordered a la carte. Divine pork and marinated tuna and crispy chocolate pudding. It was about 50 Euro each for 3 courses plus amuse bouche and bread and petit fours and wine. We were happy with the price for the quality of food and service we recieved. Would happily have dined there every night if we had found it earlier in our trip.

We had the gourmet set menu and were looking forward to this experience based on the reviews on TripAdvisor! But I have to say i was not pleased.Yes they tried and yes they had some nice items (lobster, oyster, fish, squid), but it lacked passion. Seemed to me that they tried to hard to make it look good and forgot about the taste.But I might be wrong as most people is happy about this place. None the less, wasn't worth â¬60 PR person (inc wine and tips).
