We sat at the restaurantâs covered terrace watching the world go by and enjoying the fixed price menu that evening. We ate scrambled eggs with mushrooms and a mixed salad to start with grilled hake and bonito (similar to tuna and very common in Northern Spain) for mains followed by simple puddings. Everything was nicely prepared, especially the fish which was excellent, and the service was friendly and efficient. I wasn't anything complicated but was exactly what we wanted and was very enjoyable. A good no frills meal and we would recommend it and visit again if and when we return to Zarautz.

Three course meal (18 e) was delicious. Four of us got to share fish cake, black squid rice, turbot,hake grilled anchovies, cheese with quince jelly sheep milk in a jar and a traditional dessert. The restaurant does not take reservations during the week so we had to wait about 1/2 hour. Once seated, service was fast and very welcoming. Definitely would return.

En dÃas laborables tiene un menú por 10 ⬠más IVA con 5/6 primeros, 5/6 segundos y 5/6 postres. Fuimos a comer 10 personas y probamos casi todos los platos que nos ofrecieron. Cocina sencilla, casera, bien condimentada: bacalao, chipirones, tortilla de patata, lengua, etc. Todo estaba bueno. Los festivos tienen otro menú de 20 ⬠con carnes y pescados a la parrilla. Comedor amplio y cómodo. Bonita terraza con sombrillas en el exterior y estupendo frontón para que jueguen los niños. Para comer bien por muy poco dinero.

We ate here twice while staying at Gran Camping, the first night we had the chuleton which we asked for medium but arrived rare, the was rectified by bringing us hot rocks to cook it on as we liked which was ok. The second day we had the menu Del dial which was excellent vale at â¬11 per person for three courses with bread, wine and water I would recommend this over the chuleton to be honest as it was really good! We also called in for a glass of Rioja and some olives which again was really good, the Ramon Bilbao reserva 2014 was outstanding!!

In the middle of nowhere we found Asador San Martin, a restaurant which seems to be nothing out of the ordinary. After reading Trip Advisor reviews we had quite high expectations; so should you!Asador San Martin without a doubt makes the best food I have tasted the last 9 months in Spain. With helpful waiters and homemade dishes I have never been more clear about my five "circles". The prices are a bit high, but well worth it!

A group of 12 of us had an amazing lunch yesterday ! If you are visiting anywhere near here you must come for amazing food , fantastic location and superb service ! Not to mention the extremely resonance prices !!If we ever get back here we will be coming back !!
