Nous étions de passage et nous sommes arrêtés pour déjeuner, au retour de la visite des caves de Roquefort.Nous avons pris 2 grandes salades qui étaient copieuses et assez bonnes.Pour le reste, tout est à revoir. Nous étions installés à l'intérieur près du bar, car la terrasse était bondée. Nous avons eu droit aux clients habitués avinés qui s'apostrophent, chambrent les serveuses, et téléphonent à tue-tête à 2 m de nous. Ambiance glauque et bruyante. Nous étions contents de partir.

restaurant de l'hôtel" le cap vert" rien d'extraordinaire pour un prix qui n'est pas vraiment bon marché service laissant un peu à désirer il faut demander de l'eau à plusieurs reprise pas de couteau pour le fromageles produits servis sont bon

Nous sommes arrivés tardivement et fatigués de notre route et nous avons été très bien accueillis.Assiette très généreuse et service au top, en plus la terrasse intérieure est très jolie et reposante.Pour les motards : Stationnement facile ;)

We have eaten 4 meals in this restaurant over the last year: two were for the menu de jour (16.50E) mid-week and two for Sunday lunch (one at 25 euros and second at 36). First let me say that the chef is quite definitely special and the food excellent. The menu de jour is fantastic value and includes 1/4 carafe of wine and coffee. Having said that the formule is a large plate containing starter and main (always a choice of fish or meat), followed by a 'cafe gourmand' 3 small deserts and a cup of good coffee which may not be to everyones' taste. For our most recent lunch I had faux filet with green pepper sauce served with 'real game chips'; my husband had encornet with mashed potato but this also inculded for each as a starter a small bowl of freshly cooked mussels, a fresh prawn salad and a crab samosa. Deserts were a lemon meringue pie, a raspberry creme and a choux creme. House wine, both white and red both perfectly acceptable and a 1/4 served per person. Quite frankly good interesting food at a realistic price. The more expensive menus are very different and while I enjoyed both my meals (trying both the cheaper and most expensive) my husband was disappointed with the most expensive. They have an interesting a la carte including dishes such as Lievre (Hare) Royale but at 33 Euros per plate you need to go at a time when you are both hungry and eager to spend at least 50 euros per person and more realistically around 80 euros if you indulge in a reasonable wine.Having said this - you won't get better food in St Affrique and the chef can compete with anyone in Aveyron. It is well worth a visit and we will certainly return (again and again).
