First time visiting this restaurant and certainly won't be the last. Typical French cuisine and staff made this a warm friendly occasion. French onion soup and pate were welcome starters, as were the escargot. Yum! Beef bourguignon was sensational with the meat as tender as can be. A must for lovers of the authentic French experience.

Walking into Hubert reminded me of every French bistro I've seen in movies. It's decor is outstanding. We arrived at 5.45pm on a Thursday for dinner and luckily got a seat at the bar. The staff were all very friendly and engaging. We started with the oysters with black pepper vinaigrette which were lovely (and I'm not a huge oysters fan), followed by the escargot in XO butter - personally I think they should just do them in a garlic butter. The steak with salad and chips were more than plenty for us to share with a bottle of Rose. About 6.30pm the bank started up and we were treated to a little live music.All in all a great night. I will say though, they need to revise their sparkling water. 14 dollars for 2 people when the water comes from the tap is outrageous.

Four of us dined here on a groupon deal which included three courses and a cocktail. We all enjoyed our meals, I had escargot, perfectly cooked duck and the cheese plate. It's a very established restaurant with great staff, very popular with tourists. We all agreed we had a great time and would return.
