We came here with friends looking for a restaurant with a good price and that wasnt your typical Dutch hamburger/spareribs/salmon fron the oven type of place. Portions were perfect, I had beautiful fish and nicely made up plates. Service is informal and friendly. Prices were very reasonable for what was served and the quality of the food.The website unfortunately doesn't show what a nice restaurant it is and that it also has a lovely garden with ample outside seating. Go there and have a look and taste for yourselves. You wont be disappointed!

On the last evening of our week in Limmen we treated ourselves to a meal at the Bistro, which weâd cycled passed every day. Great decision! The welcome from the owner was very friendly. He brought us our drinks and we enjoyed looking at the decor while we waited for our food. The menu was in English and he also talked us through the specials. It was a busy evening but he was very attentive and the freshly prepared food was delicious. We had a really great time and would love to return if weâre ever near by again! The interior setting was lovely with a funky bar featuring metal details, wooden walls with cutaways to reveal mirrors, varying wooden tables and very comfy seating. Outside there was also seating and a view over green fields.A great all round experience and would highly recommend.

A lovely location and a great building - an old youth hostel - has a good menu.However, the experience was tarnished by poor service; delays and wrong orders.

spend an evening with friends in this new reataurant in Uitgeest. Good food, good atmosphere and nice staff. They served a special limited beer, brewed at the local brewery Noord Hollandse Bierbrouwerij.

Due to living abroad not been there for quite a few years. It was such a great pleasure to experience once more their pleasant hospitality. Some very nice changes have been made to the interior. And the food? Very tasteful, lovely presented and very good quality. Wish we could visit more often.

This is hospitality perfection. A dedicated chef and a dedicated host and their team.Great food combined with great wines.Fantastic starter with goose liver, perfect intermediate course of codd with risotto of "Alkmaarse" groats and a perfect maincourse of fillet of lamb.Never a (culinairy) dull moment.

We had dinner with 10 adults on Saturday 28 March. Because of the size of our group we were offered the three-course dinner (â¬35 per person) Everyone was happy with the meals. Value for money was ok. Staff were very pleasant and explained meals and ingredients well (both in English and Dutch). All in all very pleasant evening.
