Eten & Drinken is so close to Kass (Cheese) Museum and also near the statue of the âKissing Ladyâ. Tourists flock here and there is always a line up to be seated. Mainly Bier (Beer!), draft or otherwise, hard liquor, combined with burgers or any continental favourite. Outside seating gives a fantastic view of the landmarks nearby and passing crowd. Very relaxing and very courteous service.

It took quite some time before anybody took our order for Some drinks. It took even longer to bring us the menu, Furthermore we tried to order Some more drinks but nobody was paying attention to us, although the restaurant itself is quite small. The starter didn't match the description of the menu so that was a dissapointment, staff had no real explanation for This. The main course chicken on a skewer was undercooked so by that time I was done. They served the plates Out one at the time so by the time the last person of our group had his dinner the first dishes were cold. They forgot to bring my dessert so I was done for. Too bad since my previous dining experience here was much better....

Was recommended this restaurant and was pleasantly surprised. Food was brillant. Had a mixed grill and all the meat was incredible ! Staff were friendly and food was well priced Service was prompt. Would defiantly recommend this restaurant thank you!

Looks like this is a happening place. Lots of families with small children (1st week of September), because of the small playground. Weather was nice enough to look for some shade. Service was relatively prompt and very friendly. We all had sandwiches (2 couples) outside and beer and sodas. Prices were right for this kind of setting (i.e. not too cheap).

Ik voelde me als single gast niet meteen welkom. Hoewel er plek genoeg was had ik keuze uit maar één tafeltje. Ik kon niet ontdekken waarom aan sommige tafeltjes wel en aan andere geen amuse werd geserveerd. Een twijfelachtige start dus. Versterkt doordat op wel heel indringende toon werd gevraagd of ik toch echt geen voorgerecht wilde. Met de heerlijke falafelburger maakte de kok de tekortkomingen in de bediening voor mij echter goed. Lekker op smaak, sappig en een heerlijke barbecuesmaak. Ook de frieten en salade waren lekker. Het dessert, tiramisu in een glas, werd geserveerd met aardbeien, rode bessen en kiwi. Niet echt een goede combinatie. De passie van de kok ligt duidelijk niet bij de desserts.

Came her for late afternoon bites and a drink. Lovely interior and a very busy outside (as are most places here). Staff was super friendly and helpful and the menu had some nice dishes including the mixed fresh fish platter. Loved having access to watch the kids outside while they played on the wide beach or took a jump in the water.I will say, Castribum Aan Zee is nice because it is not as well known or as convenient as places like Zaaventem so you'll find a more Dutch experience with smaller crowds. Definitely recommend.

Funky little place... Small inside but great friendly service. I was alone and the staff made me feel very welcome indeed. Even chatted about what I had been up to during my visit to Zaandam.I ordered hot chocolate and a bacon cheeseburger with fries.It was fab. Really enjoyed this little place.. funky music.. a lot of cocktails on the menu along with beers and wines.I ate early (around 5pm) so did not soak up the evening atmosphere but I would imagine that ambience is very cool in the evenings.Great little place... recommend a visit for some decent food at a decent price!!Hi Suitcasesally22, Thank you very much for your review :DReviews like this, always makes us blush!We hope to see you again.
