Visited here looking for something quick and tasty... we were pleasantly surprised! The place was very busy, it’s obviously very well thought of and popular with the locals which is always a good sign. Regardless of how busy it was, the staff were really attentive and made us feel very welcome. We both got the chicken burger and chips. Both were very fresh and tasted great... great price too, €20 for two burgers, two chips and two drinks. Great idea, great experience. I would definitely return here.

What's That Food

Usually you either find bagel places or hamburger joints. You rarely if ever find both rolled into one. This is the case with What's That Food. It is a simple unassuming place, niched in the student area on the Avenue des Frères Lumières. There is a cosy terrace out back to enjoy a quiet and peaceful meal as well as plenty of seating inside, which is not always the case with places such as these. The bagels are incredibly fresh as they are made on the spot each day and are just as big as a burger, so no worries about being scared to come away hungry. The burgers were also incredibly fresh and tasty and even the Chicken burger was one of the best I had ever tasted. The home-made country potatoes are also top-notch. Home-made cheesecake for dessert, a variety of imported American beers and a cheerful staff made this a wonderful discovery. If you are hesitating between burgers and bagels, then you know where you should go!
