La Mutinerie

What a lovely, interesting, surprising meal...fantastic ingredients, expertly cooked.... well deserved first spot...highly recommend a visit..Had the six courses, with matched wine....well worth it..not to much food, not to little...my only suggestion is to keep the wine coming...making people wait with empty glasses...Thank you Carmen for your feedback, highly appreciated ! We're pleased to read that you enjoyed your experience at La Mutinerie. Concerning wine pairing, we understand your point of view, it's always a big deal to decide rather to fill your glass up with the wine that follows and matches the next meal when it is not ready to be served, because we're afraid you won't have any wine left to pair it with the meal... But we'll work on that for sure !Hope to welcome you again soon, Best regards,

We loved our evening at Danton. The host was welcoming and eager to explain the dishes to us. Choices are limited but everything we had was stunning and mouthwatering. The beef was perfect. The guinea fowl served with celeriac was in an incredible sauce. The wines by the glass were numerous and the desserts! I would return in a heartbeat. It is not far from the Lyon Part Dieu station. Reservations are a must. I’ll be back!

This restaurant was amazing. The atmosphere, the waiter, and the food were all beyond excellent. We had the four course tasting menu with wine pairing, and were thrilled with each course. The area is not your traditional touristy area, but do not be put off by that. The food and wine are outstanding!

L'Assiette

I went there by default for a business lunch since there is almost no other "appropriate" places around to eat at noon. It was a nightmare to get serve fast (they told us it was a bad moment since they had only 3 cooks instead of 5 on regular basis), my colleagues ordered red beef meats which was totally not cooked the way they asked (one of us did send back her plate for a change). As a pro-vegetarian I've myself struggled three times with the waitress to get a real plate of vegetables, and not a small portion of vegetables sidedish (three ridiculous pieces of potatoes and two spoon of ratatouille). For that I had to wait way longer than my colleague who ordered regular meal, which is insane when you know how fast sidedish are prepared compared to meat/fish there. The place may looks nice from the outside, and they have, indeed a nice view on the airport, however for a business lunch I'm not going there for the landscape, I expect good services and proper meals, and we didn't get any. I challenge the manager of the restaurant to improve the service in the kitchen (please hire the missing cooks, it was a real mess) and ask your crew to be more open and good listener to your customer. Eventually, consider having at least one veggie/vegan dish with no animal product in it so people with dairy/eggs allergy and non-meat eater could enjoy your place without having to ask for a favor when ordering à vegetables plates. We expect so much more creativity and improvisation from French cuisine, and we got something very disappointing in your restaurant compared to all the many good and correct reviews you have in TripAdvisor. We apologize not to be a veggie place but we get your message. Be sure that we try to do our best to satisfy everybody. And we hope to see you again in best conditions.L'Assiette restaurant

Our first meal on this trip to France and a very good choice! We were staying in the Best Western and decided to give the on-site restaurant a try. Both meals were cooked to perfection, one of the best meals I've had in a long time. Prices were not too bad by French standards!

I continue to be pleasantly surprised by the good quality of restaurants in less likely spots. After a warm welcome we chose an octopus starter and a beef tartare starter - both excellent. We both followed with magret de canard with side salads- again excellent. For dessert one tried the sorbets - very good.
