Reviews on Fast Food food in Clayton, North Carolina, United States. Clayton is a town in Johnston County, North Carolina, and considered a satellite town of Raleigh. As of 2010, Clayton's population was 16,116 people. Much of that growth can be attributed to the town's close proximity to the Research Triangle area and access to major highways such as I-40, U.S. 70, and NC 42.

Ive eaten here s couple times. I have returned to see if the first two times were an oddity., However, here I go. I ordered a turkey sandwich and it was very salty and I couldn’t eat my food. Disclaimer, due to me having high blood pressure issues I need to watch my salt intake. Here at Subway I wasted my money on a plain sandwich turkey lettuce and bell pepper which should have been ok for me to ear. The salt makes me wonder if they salt their meat to extend its shelf life

If you're looking for an ice cream shop where your ice cream can melt in your hands then THIS is the place. They have plenty of young people working which is nice to see BUT the AC does NOT work. Its too warm to sit down inside and enjoy your ice cream. We've been in there several times and always get our ice cream to go. So the AC hasnt worked good in awhile.

Once upon a time there were four burger joints surrounding the intersection of High House Road and Davis Drive here in Cary. Then one of them closed suddenly, due to under-performance. Of the three remaining, the two that faced each other, Freddy’s Steakburgers & Frozen Custard, both closed in succession more recently. There were some things I liked about Freddy’s, namely their “Ethiopian thin” burger patties (term coined by my brother-in-law), and their julienned french fries.Recently, I was made aware by a colleague that Culver’s of Wisconsin had opened a restaurant in Clayton. So today I drove the 28 miles to try it out. As I arrived the first thing I noticed was that Culver’s parking lot was full except for two spaces. The second thing was that the drive-through line wrapped nearly all the way around the building. This was well after the weekday lunch hour. Both were good signs.Since this was my first time at Culver’s I ordered my “standard configuration” burger… beef patty, lettuce, tomato, and (raw) onions. No ketchup, mustard, or mayo to get in the way of the flavor of the meat. After completing my order I was given a numbered “tent card” to place on my table. It took nearly fifteen minutes for my food to be delivered because, as I discovered, each and every order is prepared from scratch. The brief wait was pleasant, allowing me time to sip my drink as I acclimated myself to the relaxing blue-toned interior. Culver’s offer’s Pepsi products, plus their own branded root beer and diet root beer. After my first bite I realized their beef patties were quite similar to those of Freddy’s and tasted similarly. As a side I ordered their creamy Cole slaw in lieu of french fries. While the slaw was good, my favorite still remains that of KFC. By the way, unlike Freddy’s, by appearance Culver’s french fries are crinkle-cut and closely resemble those of Snoopy’s.Culver’s is not a fast-food restaurant for a couple of reasons. First, after placing your order at the counter you have to wait for the food to be prepared and delivered to your table. In that sense it is more like a sit-down restaurant. And secondly, Culver’s doesn’t just peddle burgers. They have a fairly well-rounded menu, which includes chicken and fish sandwiches and platters, soups, even a pot roast sandwich. And of course, frozen custard. All in all, I was pleased with my experience. Culver’s is in the process of building a franchise in Apex. I expect one will eventually be built in Raleigh as well. That leaves the question of Cary. Perhaps they’ll consider taking over the location vacated by Freddy’s, of which I have made them aware. If for some reason they don’t care for that side of High House Road, then there’s always the former Wendy’s site across the street.

Employees are friendly as soon as you walk in the restaurant. The menu stars you right in the face and it is to understand. The prices were reasonable and the food was well prepared. We had to take some home with us. You received free refills on drinks. They also had a television you can watch while eating. The Restaurant was cleaned and neat. It had a lot of firehouse displays. Making it a wonderful discussion while eating. Recommend this restaurant to all sandwich lovers.

Two for dinner..I ordered the Zaxby's club sandwich after the counter girl suggested it. Wife ordered wings. We also got fried mushrooms as a side order. Restaurant was fairly crowded yet service was fast and efficient. Club sandwich one of the best I've ever eaten. Wings prepared perfectly. Mushrooms to die for. Great meal for 2 for less than 17 bucks.

Used to be my favorite place in the area. Subs used to be very fresh bread. Pasta used to taste homemade. They are forgetting things in the order. Keys get things back guys. This was a great place to eat. Almost giving up. Hey Thomas. I'm sorry to hear that you haven't had the same experience you used to have. We've always stuck to the promise of fresh homemade food from the day we opened. Even after 9 years, we still serve fresh bread and make our food in store just like we used to when we first opened. Hope you give us another try, I know we can better serve you. Hope to see you again.

This is a very clean restaurant. The service was prompt. We order two 4-pc chicken supremes combos and had almost no wait time. Normally at other Bojangles restaurants we have to wait up to 15 minutes for our food, but at this one we were in and out the door with our carry out order in about 5 minutes. I would recommend this restaurant to a friend.
