Everything about this restaurant was excellent. Most importantly, the food was superb. This was dinner for four and we all chose different courses. We were all happy with our choices and I have to say that we had a bit of food envy towards the one who chose 'Le Welsh' - La Fleur de Lille's interpretation of this dish was just fantastic. It was also sufficiently large that there was plenty to be shared around. The service was great too and next time we're in town we'll be heading straight back here again.

We got the truffle pasta finished by the table (flames and vodka). The sommelier gave a great recommendation for wine to go with the dish, and the meal started with a nice parsnip ham amuse bouche and was finished with a complimentary chocolate covered pistachio treat. Wonderful service (and decor)! Had a dinner here recently and lovely family-friendly ambience. The food is strictly not gastronomique, though the menu generous and choice ample. My steak was cooked a little less than a point, but that is not unusual in France. Served with frites (no choice offered) which is my only regret on a well prepared and tasty meal.Lovely service and pleasant greeting from a warm maitre d'hotel.Very competitive price point, informal atmosphere; the wooden panelling would not go amiss in old New York. A place to dine with friends and family, not so much a romantic venue. A place to go to often and our fellow diners seemed to know the team and cuisine.Merci a tous

This is without any doubts one of the BEST RESTAURANT IN the Lille area.Food is STUNNING and excellent and service is very good.Price is very reasonable if you compare to any similar restaurant in cities like LONDON or PARIS ( would cost your twice the bil you will pay in here!!!)Highly recomand it for special occasion.A MUST to experience once in your lifetime

We walked 2 km tru the porring rain to reach Barre Rouge in Vieux Lille. But it was worth it. Very modern and contempory. Very polite servants. Small menu and not so much choise for a big kitchten brigade, 3 entrance, 3 main courses and 3 desserts. But we ordered before and they proposed a nice menu for 40 â¬. And with some extras it was really a discovery. The wines are also very good, and the price is right. Only minus is a little to less bread ... surely for such a good butter they improved. Also it would been nice that the chef would pass by the his guests... we woulded have to write this. I think the restaurant is going up the charts, keep up the good work.

Made reservations for Quai38 in advance of our stay in Lille. Did not want to miss this for a wonderful evening with my wife, who is a food snob like myself. We enjoyed the atmosphere and service. The staff makes you feel very welcome. Dishes were original and putting the quality of the food in its power. This tasted like a starry starry night! Bertrand cum suis... thanks for this experience.

We went for dinner here on a busy night without a reservation. It was hot out and everyone dined al fresco - brilliant idea except for the mozzies which tend to find me.The service was patchy because of staff shortage during the evening and the manager/maitre d'hotel was personally very apologetic for any gaps.We enjoyed a tremendous palate of flavours, food created with a modern twist and gorgeous surrounds and ambience.The wine list was very comprehensive and brief (French selections and par verre), the three course formule was freshly prepared and a perfect balance of appearance and flavour. Seasonal berries, fresh fish and lovely starter.This place is run by 2 enthusiastic young folks, such was the pressure, the chef did runs to tables with the meals - a real team effort and bravo to them for that.A definite place to return to: Les Gourmets is in a lovely building adjacent to a parish church and with tons of parking. This part of Marcq is residential and quiet.As proof positive as to the quality, the restaurant had many neighbourhood residents in.Superb start.

Wow. A great little find just out from the centre of Lille . A small menu of absolutely lovely food. We enjoyed everything that we ate. The service was helpful, informative and friendly. A really pleasant ambience for our meal. Good value wines ( the Petit Chablis was very reasonable ). It really is a gem of a restaurant ( modern, clean, fresh ); well worth a bit of an effort to get out to.

Cadre, personnel, carte .. ce restaurant a tous les atouts en main .. accueil hyper sympa, service souriant, pro, rapide et attentionné... belle carte et des plats plein de saveurs et à la présentation impeccable.. nous avons passé un excellent déjeuner ! We visited this restaurant with a group of 30 persons and we were impressed. The food was delicous, nicely presented and the service was perfect. Although we were such a big group the staff was very attentive, we were served all at the same time and every request was fullfilled. As a couple we will definitely go back on our next visit.
