Byron Bay's beaches are dotted with lighthouses and surrounded by bottlenose dolphins, rays, whales and sea turtles. This former New South Wales whaling station turned tourist town is still strongly influenced by its recent bohemian past, when hippie lifestyles flourished. Bongos and didgeridoos sound in parks, sarongs and dreadlocks are common, and vegetarian restaurants abound. Give in to the casual vibe and stroll between beaches and bars for a low-key and happy day.

Great ambiance, great food. Escargot in Galicia butter sauce is amazing. Authentic French onion soup, green salad as you would expect in France. John Dory cooked to perfection. What’s not to love about this restaurant. Easily Byron’s Best restaurant that I’ve dined in, haven’t been to them all. Put this one on your to do list.

We came here for dinner on a Monday night and although we had a reservation, the place wasn’t full which was nice. They also had the best soundtracking playing - I wanted to download the entire playlist. Anyways, food and cocktails were delicious and we had a bit of a corner table which was nice and intimate. Would definitely suggest putting on your list of places to try!

We were looking for a relaxed dinner with good food and atmosphere and found this place. From the moment we arrived and greeted with a smiling friendly waitress to the time we left, really enjoyable. The staff here really care and it comes through in their service and food. There is a lot of same same cafes in Byron all doing breakfast and lunch but not a great deal of quality dinning places particularly providing a level of sophistication and romantic mood.Highly recommend !!
