We will utilize room servicefrom the O cafe and Bistro again when we stay at The Oswego in the future.Thank you for taking the time to post a review. We appreciate it!Our O Cafe and Bistro offers a smaller but amazing menu. Our Cafe is open from 6.30am - 10pm, 7 days a week and our Bistro 4pm-10pm nightly. We work with many local suppliers and farmers. Each of our suites have kitchens, however many guests like yourselves enjoy the flexibility of ordering room service and enjoying it in the privacy of their suite.Come back again soon so we can continue to deliver on the service and standards you enjoy when staying with us.Kind regardsSuzanne GatrellGeneral Manager - Oswego HotelPresident & CEO - Kingsbridge Management& Kingsbridge Management Group UK Limited

We picked this restaurant because of its ability to offer gluten free food, as someone with Celiac disease this is really important. It is a bit out of the way if you are staying downtown but it has a great location right on the water. They have a full gluten free menu with tons of options but what I liked best of all is that they have a * beside the items that could potentially have cross-contamination issues. I hate when I go to a restaurant, pick something from their gluten free menu only to find out from the server that it is in a shared deep fryer or there is potential for it to have gluten in it. This * made it easy for me to make a decision on what to have. The waitress was very knowledgeable about their gluten free items which is always reassuring. I had the Chicken pesto pasta, it was a large portion and full of flavour. I would definitely recommend this restaurant if you are a Celiac.Thank you for the review seasaltandsandcastle, We are always thrilled when we know we've succeeded in satisfying our guests- especially individuals with allergies. I am gluten free myself and I think we are very fortunate to have such a talented culinary team in our back of house.I hope you are able to join us again soon and try our gluten free pizza options.Morgan HassGuest Services [email protected]

As part of our trip to Victoria, we decide to dine at one of its better restaurants. After a small wait we were seated at table 9. While we looked at the menus our server Jasmine greeted us and took our drink order. For our appetizers we ordered the lamb liverwurst and brussel sprouts. Our main order consisted of the Cured Tuna, the Ling Cod and the Salmon dishes. Over-all the appetizers and mains were inconsistent in terms of taste and to a lesser extent presentation. I have reviewed each below for future visitors.* Lamb Liverwurst (2/5) - Mostly boring dish, liverwurst looked as if it came out of a tube.* Brussel Sprouts (0/5) - Basically tasted like greasy burnt broccoli, smelled like it too, awful.* Salmon (3/5) - The salmon was nicely presented and tasted as expected, but was nothing exceptional.* Ling Cod (2/5) - Seared Cod served in a Korean sauce. Way way too much sauce.* Cured Tuna (4/5) - The final dish was fine, nicely presented sushi. In summary the appetizers were a disaster and the mains did not make up for this. One of the beers we ordered was the Boombox, described as a lager IPA it was way to citrus in taste to the point where it was undrinkable. The 80% full glass sat throughout our visit. Finally our server (1/5) Server: AG- Jasmine G. We received very little attention from her, she only asked about our mains 3/4 through. Our consensus from the three of us was we found her aloof and somewhat condescending/fake. She never asked about the full beer on the table even when doing the bill, she only wanted her tip , it was obvious she saw it. BTW the tip was for the rest of the staff there. We have dined at many fine restaurants across Canada and I do not often take to singling out servers or the chefs food but I must for Agrius. This definitely was the low point for our visit to Vancouver and Victoria.I cannot see how they can possibly be rated as one of the top 100 in Canada.

Small place with a big reputation... so we figured we'd try it for a special occasion. Glad we did. The food is amazing. Truly exceptional. Decided to not go with the tasting menu (will do it next time), and instead we tried a couple of starters, then the salmon, and everything was great. The kitchen here knows what its doing, the service is top shelf, and its worth the price if you want something special in terms of excellence in food flavour and presentation.Thank you Volenti for your kind words about your evening at Saveur. We value the use of fresh and local ingredients which is reflected in the flavours on the plates, as well as keeps the menu constantly changing so there are new dishes popping up regularly. We Look forward to welcoming you back to try the tasting menu on your next visit.
