Surrounded by top hotels on the Victoria waterfront The Belleville seems a little out of place. You can find a whole bunch of fancy places for 'high tea' and 'fine dining' around here but you won't find anywhere else that has a pulse let alone a vibe. I found it purly by chance as it was the only bar on the street that appeared to have any guests and once inside I discovered why. It caters for pretty much everyone with one side dedicated to over 19s and the other a more family friendly environment. The staff are supper attentive and you have a wide range of seating options to cater for every shape of posterior. When the sun shines and the warm evenings are long there is a very pleasant terrace, otherwise there is plenty of room inside with a rock and roll western feel.Great staff, good music, and exactly what you would expect from a traditional diner - huge portions of yummy stuff that will pile on the pounds for winter. It ain't the Ritz but unless you want to eat on your own this is the place to come.

This is a nice restaurant right by Bastian square and Victoria. Big long bar or tables to sit at the choice is yours. There's some interesting items on the menu very Canadian in Irish at the same time. Beer and full bar offerings are also available. I like the Ambiance we went on a Saturday night it was a little loud and crowded but overall it was kind of cool experience. Service was a little slow but that's expected on a Saturday night.

First place we stopped and grabbed dinner at once off our cruise ship. The restaurant is super cute and trendy. We loved that it was all organic and tasted fresh. The superior oysters were one of our favorites. The halibut fish and chips were delicious and were large pieces of halibut. The bacon in the clam chowder was really good too. It’s a great location near the water and surrounded by tons of shops.

We were in Victoria for only a few short hours and wanted something other than a completely touristy place. We asked a hotel bell hop where the locals get a drink and he directed us to Bartholomew's. It was a great experience. We had good friendly service and enjoyed drinks on the outdoor patio. The beer selection is extensive and authentic. It seemed like the kind of comfortable pub that you'd want to hang out in! I wish we'd had more time.

Seven of us had supper here and everything worked to our advantage. We were seated upstairs in a back corner which meant we could visit and laugh without disturbing others. Even in a back corner, the bar was beautiful and inviting. The food was great and the waitress willing to tell us her favourites. I recommend the Salt Spring Mussels. However, others in our group had various meals and everyone raved about their orders. You cannot go wrong here.

Wow! We were very happy with our turkey dinner at The Irish Times Pub!! Great turkey, stuffing , mashed potatoes, gravy and glazed carrots. Very Yummy! One of the managers offered us complimentary champagne for our anniversary - a very nice gesture. There was pumpkin pie with a caramel sauce included for dessert that was delicious. Some dark meat would have made it perfect but the white turkey was juicy. There was Irish music while we had dinner and it truly was great! Thanks for an excellent evening!
