We have stayed twice in the Golden TulipHotel within which this restaurant is situated. We chose this location as a sensible place for an overnight stay on both legs of a long drive to and from Italy. The food is not particularly expensive but neither is it the cheap economy fair sometimes served up in budget hotels. Breakfast is a self service buffet with a very acceptable selection of some warm foods and the usual continental cold food and drinks, You can eat exactly what you want and this will provide a good start to the day.However it was dinner in evening that we did particularly enjoy. On the first occasion the restaurant was quite busy including some locals (always a good sign) and we did have to wait a little for the food. The selection was good and then dishes well cooked and presented.On our return trip it was even better. The menu had been changed to reflect the new season and the weather was kind enough to enable to be seated outside near the pool. A good steak and a carafe of local wine ensured that we both felt as if we had gained an extra night's holiday rather than just an 'overnighter'.We have already booked to stay at the hotel on both legs of our next journey to Italy. We will certainly eat here again both times and are looking forward to sampling another tasteof this region.You will not eat here cheaply but you will enjoy it and feel that you have got pretty good value for money.

Small restaurant, modern and nice furniture even though something could be improved, but this is not the reason you would go there for. Personnel composed of only 2 young boys, one in the kitchen (visible from the dining area) and one waiter.Fixed menu, all based on caviar, even in the dessert. The young chef surely learned the techniques during his education and is willing to share it in a humble and enthusiast manner. Not common from a typical French restaurant and personnel. Good whine list, presented according to the meals, not just according on the color - smart choice. Prices of the single glass absolutely right, allowing you to take different sorts during your meal without spending excessively like in other restaurants.The fish was cooked perfectly, the dessert was extremely surprising. All plates dressings were perfect. On the minus: side dish of the main dish was very good but could be better, and I am expecting this young chef to improve constantly, it is clear that he knows how to, so I will go back for sure, periodically, to appreciate a good evening and to see how a new talent, potentially a great one, develops and affirms himself.

Discovered this bistro style restaurant whilst on a week end away in Mulhouse and were very happy we did !Modern and comfortable interior with good lighting and welcoming staff...good background music too,louder than usual but still not intrusive so a good balance...menu is presented on a blackboard either by looking at the enlarged wall version or the smaller ones brought to your table...a good selection for a 3 course dinner with additional "specials" on offer and carafes of wine as well as the more expensive choice of bottles...again, a good balance..Starter of scallops on creamy leak base followed by prawns on a pasta and sun dried tomato base with parmesan shavings...delicious !Dinner with carafe wine , coffee and aperos for 88 euros...you could eat well here for less than that but this was a special occasion !Would most certainly go back....

a small menu but very good quality food and great service. The presentation of the restaurant and the food is modern and refreshing. Has many of the qualities of very fine dining restaurants in a compact package. The best in Mulhouse center - very possibly.

Great restaurant: except for the dessert, our dishes were extraordinary (great presentation, amazing flavors); ingredients were of great quality and price quality ratio absolutely amazing; I was a little disappointed by the desserts (we tried two, which should eliminate the likelihood of it just being an accident), which did not quite live up to the rest of the food; service was friendly and efficient; interior modern and cozy - expect a lively atmosphere; it really pains me to rate it 4 out of five (closer to 4 and a half). Had we not taken the desserts, it would have been a five, without hesitation!
