When we indicated to the hotel that we would be later then 22:00 (at which the reception closes) the receptionist contacted us and explained how to use the computer at door of the hotel to receive our card for accessing the hotel.

Friendly but need for tlc
Reviewed By Dutch-MikeyThe place is nice, cozy and the staff are very friendly and helpful. Food service is a tad slow but they tried hard to make it fast. To make up they gave us extra food free of charge. The hotel is in need of some tlc. The smell is musty and there are several lights not working. A few stains here and there.

Reviewed By mcaldanaa motel in the commercial zone. rooms are old and need to be renovated. Breakfast is basic with some local products. the only added vale is the position in you want to make a stop-over not far from the motorway.

Reviewed By Bruno HThe staff is helpful and the hygiene regulation is well described. Sufficient parking spaces and easy to reach with car. However, we have booked a twin bed room but were given a double bed room, which is not a big issue still!

Wifi free hotel
A hotel? - not really!
Reviewed By lillesoedalArriving outside this building in a windy, raining cold, dark night with 4 degrees is not the fault of the so called hotel. So called? Yes, because talking about a hotel it must provide a minimum of comfort and good feeling. After finding out how to pay, a sign with an arrow showed to the backside of the ugly building - no explaining in any language but French - how can they neglect foreigners so badly? They don't really care about guests I presume. The room was in first floor and the screaming yellow walls were far from the thoughts of wonderful romantic area of Alsace. Two single beds looked like camp beds for soldiers in the second world war and the thick pillow was stuffed with big foam squares for a bad comfort for the rest of the head. Ugly torn curtains were covering the windows - not all working. The view was to a roof underneath and to a parking spot for trucks. A tv up on the wall was at the size of my laptop. In my opinion 3 things must at least be provided in a hotel: A good bed, silent surroundings and a warm shower. Next morning there was no hot water in the shower, so this fact put the star down on one - otherwise hey might have got two. Leaving the room the next morning there was nowhere to put the plastic key for the room door - should I have left it in the door? - I do not know - so now I have a useless plastic key. I wanted to go back to put it in the door when there was nowhere else to put it, but a door was locked meanwhile and I could not enter the stairs for the room anymore - what a terrible place - cheap? Not really passing 50 Euro. I will not recommend this trashy building.
