Leading on from the headline sentence, there is nothing wrong with an eating experience. The food we had was good but not great. However considering what we paid...$40 for Mongolian king prawns, mixed veg chow mein and steamed rice, it was fine. Not packed with salt or MSG too which is truly a bonus.Plenty of options on the menu but apart from one tofu dish, an omelette and the mixed veg chow mein, saw no other veg options. Could probably ask for any dish though without the meat so no real issue.For lunch plenty of $8 specials which is very good value.Service was prompt, the meals arrived quickly but with a certain tiredness.Decor is tired although the venue was otherwise very clean.The male toilet was poor, smelly, dirty , bin overflowing and the mirror very dirty.The music was played at a low volume but was of such a poor quality it was quite annoying. It was westernised chinese music, like asian muzak...why bother or play something authentic?So to buzz in for a good quick feed of chinese, I would recommend the Dragon. For an eating experience with all of the atmosphere I would try elsewhere.

This little gem deserves more than just the thriving take-away trade. If you've got the time, it's worth popping in and sitting down to enjoy your meal. The lettuce for the San Choy Bow was perfectly crisp and the filling generous and moreish. The spicy, sizzling lamb was very tender and the steamed Dim Sims were plump and tasty. Loved the kitschy Fortune Cookies at the end too.

Found this place by chance, but very glad we did. Upon arrival, we were seated promptly. The waitress had a natural friendly personality and this shone through. Food service again was prompt, with just enough gap between entree and main to enjoy. The food itself was very tasty and well presented.Will be back

Little Chinese restaurant, mostly setup for takeaway with seating if you wish to eatin. My GPS took me down a back lane, Park in Gordon Street outside Max Murray Mall. Service was excellent with smiling helpful lady behind the counter. Large Fried Rice had peas, meat and egg included. Combination Omelette contained a few king prawns, chicken, some other meat, couldnt fault the amount of ingredients, sauce tasted a bit watery and was watery, didnt thicken even overnight. I had read a review saying Sweet and Sour Chicken Fritters were delicious. They werent on the menu so I asked and there was no problem ordering it. Tasted like typical sweet and sour. Chicken pieces were a bit large and fairly tough the next day, not a big fan. Overall nice, average Chinese.

Hadn't been here for a while. Nice friendly staff , good range of menu options , very fast service. Food was good although for my takeaway they hadn't included the lettuce leaves for the San Choy Bow - on the receipt is a reminder to get the lettuce from the frig!

I wanted a quick lunch that did not cost me a fortune. A sit down on the run type meal. Fantastic! Garlic beef with rice for $10. The meat was tender, beautu=ifully succulently prepared, lots of garlic, firm fresh vegetable and beautiful rice. You really can't get better. Delivered very promptly indeed. The food experience was excellent!The niggles were music that was way too loud, and items like an old table and a sign were just propped up around the walls. Yeah a bit pedantic but is it an eating place or someones garage?The reason you would eat here though are good food at a good price. Could not be faulted.
