We went there for our daughter's birthday for lunch. The wife and I had been there four years ago and hoped that the standard hadn't slipped. We needn't have worried. The staff were exceedingly friendly and made all the right oohs and aahs over our 7 month old granddaughter - 5 star review guaranteed. I shared the paella with one daughter while the other had the chowder. No one was disappointed. Moderately expensive so I had a shave for the occasion. Apart from that I didn't have a problem with the cost, unlike some reviewers. All in all, a great, value-for-money meal.

Was recommended Seasalt by people at our accommodation. Was a little hesitant as they don't serve any meat based products (burgers/dim sims) however once I tried the fish and chips I was won over. The packages are very decently priced and good servings ( I got 3 pieces of fish and a serve of chips for $16.90). The fish was fresh and delicious (although more oily than I would personally like). Would definitely return if I visit Coffs Harbour again

My wife and I had lunch at the now called Yachtie. We waited and waited and waited to get served. Not once did a staff member acknowledge us until we complained about the poor service! The place was only half full yet it took nearly an hour for our order to be taken and meal served. Extremely slack! Last time for us.

Shearwater proved a great venue for a girls lunch with a lovely view over Coffs Creek and some excellent food. The grilled John Dory and accompanying chips and slaw salad were excellent and my friend thoroughly enjoyed her quinoa and vege bowl. Good coffee completed the meal. Service was friendly. We will be back.
