It is a beautiful cafe shape as a barrel. The food is amazing, they have sandwiches with very good quality meat, you can add sauteed mushrooms to them. They have a wonderful selection of cakes "Torta Sacher" or " Mil Hojas", which is a classic chilean cake with manjar (dulce de leche). I also recommend "Kuchen de Nuez" which is sort of a pie with walnuts. I have gone there with my boyfriend and with friends and the quality and service are always amazing.Thanks Ana Luisa for your great descriptions about us and I hope you really enjoy your time in Chile. Visited El Manso Toro for lunch and it was the best meal we had during our month in Argentina and Chile. The facility is lovely, service is excellent and the steaks were wonderful. We shared a mixed grill for four. Highly recommend this restaurant.

Un tÃo nos llevaba hace muchos años después de jugar a la pelota. Y el sabor no ha cambiado. Muy rico y siempre refrescante. Ahora pasó en bicicleta con mis compañeros. Recomendable!

This is a really good restaurant. Beautifully located with nice options for both indoor and outdoor seating. The menu is in Spanish with a bit of English translation; we didnât have any staff who could speak more than a word or two of English which surprised us. Our major criticism though is the portion size - which is just crazily large which means food in consistently wasted. A real pity. Of course you can take home leftovers if you like, but thatâs not the point.Not cheap - prices not far from a hose in major cities; but did the job and we visited a few times during our stay at Cascada. After the tour of Concha y Toro, we ate here in mid-afternoon. We were hoping for vineyard views but it's in the courtyard by the shop and cellar, which still made for a pleasant couple of hours eating and drinking. The food was really good - good beef and lamb and even corn pies and the mains were well worth the $6,000-$12,000 prices. You can sample their expensive wines or get decent bottles at the lower end for around $10,000 - they forgot to bring our wine order but that was the only blemish on the service. English menus available if you need them and most staff knew English.

Having driven up and down the Camino Volcan, looking for various recommended places we were getting desperate for lunch on Sunday, and were attracted by the indication that there was something other than meat on the menu. (We had already left one restaurant for this reason). We were enchanted by the quirky decor, the outside walls being made up of a collection of windows.The waitress arrived promptly and welcomed us taking our order for drinks. By the time we had washed our hands the drinks, hot bread and pebre had arrived. By the time we had looked around at the various object d'art our order was ready. We were both happy with our cheese and either prawn or scallop empanadas, mine with a prawn salad and my husband's with breaded squid and scallops. I had a caiparinia and he a 500ml hop beer. Other platters being served looked huge, and whilst i was tempted with the ice cream and pancakes delivered to another table, having not had our walk it was not deserved.Our bill was just over 26000clpOn the way out I noticed that it was open until 1am on Fridays and Saturdays!

My review is about cottages they own. So far It's one the best cottages I ever stayed. . We couldn't believe that there can be a place like this only 1 hour's drive from Santiago. they have few independent cottages and all have breath taking views. this place is surrounded by nature (mountains, river, trees). We could hear sound of river whole night. Host was nice and gentleman. Rooms and beds were very clean, equipped with all the necessities. If you want to take a break from your busy life and enjoy true beauty of nature, this is the place. It's a package of mental peace, relaxation and enjoying quality time with your loved ones.if you are near to Santiago, don't miss it.
