Simple place, good background music, efficient and healthy homemade food. We had the set exec menu with soup, salad + quiche, dessert and beverage. Friendly wait staff, reasonable price.

The restaurant has beautiful views of the river and Mountains. It is a delight to sit outside by the fire pit and listen to the river gush below. The service is extremely slow and neglectful. The staff spend more time socializing with each other than serving. Our dinner order was lost and took over 2 hours to arrive. However, it was very well prepared.

While you can perhaps get a better steak in Chile, the fresh salads, BBQ ribs, and corn pie are delectable.
On a nice day sit outside, have lunch, and enjoy a glass of wine in a place that is extremely relaxed. It definitely feels like you are not in any major corporate Enterprise or international chain- very local feel.
In addition to very good food, La Vaquita Echa is an accommodating stop for families, has clean restrooms, and ample parking.
If you are a part of a tour, best to have some cash to leave a tip.

I do not want to bag on the people here, they were very nice and super friendly. But the place, which has a pool right at the restaurant, was full of children splashing. Not the most tranquil spot for lunch.
That said, the people staying here were having a great time. And, like I said, they were very friendly.
The problem was with Bicicleta Verde, not the place

There are good restaurants in Pirque and for good reason - lunch in the country outside of Santiago. For visitors (or locals) you can take the Metro to Plaza Puente Alto and then a short taxi to Pirque and return to Santiago the same way....MoreThanks so much for your comments. My review is about cottages they own. So far It's one the best cottages I ever stayed. . We couldn't believe that there can be a place like this only 1 hour's drive from Santiago. they have few independent cottages and all have breath taking views. this place is surrounded by nature (mountains, river, trees). We could hear sound of river whole night. Host was nice and gentleman. Rooms and beds were very clean, equipped with all the necessities. If you want to take a break from your busy life and enjoy true beauty of nature, this is the place. It's a package of mental peace, relaxation and enjoying quality time with your loved ones.if you are near to Santiago, don't miss it.

We had a lovely evening at El Manso Toro. The dinner was very good, tender steaks that were done exactly as we like and crispy fries with a nice salad and bread. Not world class cuisine, but done very well. The waiter was so kind and helpful. And the venue was very pretty, a patio like setting overlooking a back yard. I'd recommend if you are the mood for a good steak, nice wine and pleasant staff and surroundings.

El día 28 vinimos a celebrar el cumpleaños de mi esposa y ella pidió un lomo saltado.

The eclectic atmosphere of Sueno Antiguo captures my wanderlust-filled soul. I find something new to look at each and every time I'm in Cajon de Maipo. I could wander through the property taking photos of the collections, but the empanadas draw me in. ¡ No es una parrilla !!! Y digo que es para personas que aprecien comida diferente e innovadora. Dueño siempre presente y muy atento. Buen ambiente en un lugar muy acogedor por su construcción, decoración y entorno precordillerano. Comida de calidad con un menú que permite opciones,( en esta ocasión tuvimos que pedir aumentar la temperatura de los platos y vimos que al igual que en otros lugares del sector el personal no está bien entrenado para desempeñarse al nivel del restaurante) No es barato pero vale la preocupación de servir algo diferente , en cantidad y calidad adecuadas.
