We have often eaten here at lunchtimes and have not been disappointed - except by occasional slow service - but when you have such a beautiful sea view to keep you occupied, this was never really a problem. This year we were tempted by their special Valentine's meal and went there on Saturday evening. Everything was perfect. For 32 euros pp there was a special 5 course meal (with a special entree to share so you had to be in agreement!) and an excellent ambiance and service. Thank you to Philippe and Sisi and we look forward to our next visit.

Really liked this concept restaurant! You get a choice of 4 crates of various tapas for different themes (catalagne, sea, land, etc) and you get a bunch of tapas in crates that you share with your table. The tapas are pretty good, and the atmosphere is nice. Best location is probably the terrasse which is more "open" and has nice view of beachfront. Inside is really as the restaurant name indicates "can of sardines"... Would recommend.

We were looking for somewhere to have an evening meal & decided to try here as it seemed to be busy which is always a good sign!! Service was very slow & one of our main courses was forgotten..So two of us were finished our main course before the third person got hers..Food was OK & we got one free desert because of the delay of one meal..Staff were friendly & apologetic over the mess up...I won't be back....

Good food, well prepared and presented. The owner was warm and smiley, came with different wines and let us try and choose our favourites (even though we only ordered our wines by the glass). We had some meats, cheese, salads and very tasty meat balls which we definetely recommend. We sat outside and enjoyed our brunch. Unfortunately the restaurant was closed for few days during our stay so we didnât have the opportunity to try more dishes or have a dinner at this place. All in one, a good place to have a brunch and enjoy a glass of wine and a meal. Merci beaucoup ! You are lovely!!!!! See you soon!!!!

Having eaten here on several previous visits to Canet Plage this was very disappointing.Very busy for a Monday evening-had a pleasant table and service was ok.We ordered aperitifs,wine and the Maxi mix tapas for 2.On arrival it looked ok but soon became clear that it was stale and some dishes had been reheated!Hubbie polished off most of it but I was cautious because of the clearly reheated not freshly prepared dishes!Pudding was good -had a lovely chocolate fondant.Maybe this time we choose the wrong thing?Other dishes looked ok and freshly cooked.Such a shame because we have had excellent tapas in the past!

Staying one night in this town I fancied Moule Frites and settled on this place as they seemed to have an attractive offering on their signboard.I ordered my food and a 1/4 bottle of wine, total price â¬17.30.Food was brought fairly promptly but it went downhill from there; Anyone who's eaten mussels expects to find the odd few empty shells and sometimes a couple of stray mussels in the bottom that have excaped their shells; not this time, over half of the shells were empty! and no strays to compensate.I can only conclude that this resturant deliberately mixes in used shells from previous diners to make it look like you have a full portion. Apart from the food hygiene issue this constitutes it is a travesty and ruined the whole experience.I don't have the language skills to complain directly so am left just with this review to vent my feelings but also warn others. I have kept the bill receipt so can prove this is a genuine review based on personal experience

Nous y sommes allés 5 fois durant notre séjour . Nous n'y avons mangé que des produits de la mer, comme les autres années. Très bien . Nous aurions aimé un petit changement dans les accompagnements .Un petit conseil, comme dans d'autres restaurants de la côte, prévoir un espace non-fumeur sur votre terrasse . Nous avons dû manger à l'intérieur car la fumée m'incommode , je suis allergique .

Fantastic atmosphere, wonderful staff, and great meat off the open fire - all at a reasonable (not cheap) cost Always love visiting Vigitane We had Cote de Boeuf and had enough leaving with us for dinner following day. Highly recommended!
