The same applies to the remarkable wine list, with a huge variety of Rousillon offerings, expertly chosen by the charming owner. His guidance through the list is well worth following.

Staying one night in this town I fancied Moule Frites and settled on this place as they seemed to have an attractive offering on their signboard.I ordered my food and a 1/4 bottle of wine, total price â¬17.30.Food was brought fairly promptly but it went downhill from there; Anyone who's eaten mussels expects to find the odd few empty shells and sometimes a couple of stray mussels in the bottom that have excaped their shells; not this time, over half of the shells were empty! and no strays to compensate.I can only conclude that this resturant deliberately mixes in used shells from previous diners to make it look like you have a full portion. Apart from the food hygiene issue this constitutes it is a travesty and ruined the whole experience.I don't have the language skills to complain directly so am left just with this review to vent my feelings but also warn others. I have kept the bill receipt so can prove this is a genuine review based on personal experience

This is the place to be if you like good food, good music, nice staf and a relaxing atmosphere. sunbed(â¬12,=) or sunmatras2x2m (â¬35,=). It is not cheap but quality is good and worth the money. Expect to pay â¬100-â¬150 for two. (sunmatras, lunches and a few drinks). It is about 1km on a dusty gravel road to reach the car parking. From there about 100 m walk to the sea. You cannot miss.

So much choice along the sea front itâs really hard to know which restaurants are good, however this is.Stopped for lunch on our walk back from Canet en Roussillon old town. Super friendly greeting, with recommendations on their dish of the day & specials.Menu good, caters for all & has a good choice for kids too.I would recommend the crepes, I had a savoury Camembert with apple, delicious. Whilst my husband had the homemade burger with fries. The burger was cooked to perfection, seasoned well and the homemade fries, again delicious. All washed down with a local white wine! Certainly try this place if in the area

We visited Canet en Rousillon for a holiday and was given a recommendation for Can Marcel. It certainly didn't disappoint the food was wonderful and so was the service. The waitress explained each meal to us and made us feel very relaxed and welcome. The 2 men in our party had the Red Tuna which was a special of the day, my friend had roasted monkfish tail on a bed of potatoes and onions and I had an amazing selection of shellfish. Highly recommended.

The food was delicious, the duck burger was absolutely divine, cooked to perfection!The cocktails went down a treat! The staff were delightfully friendly, and the atmosphere, music and quirky decor was perfectly fitting! Top marks!!! Well worth a visit, you won't be disappointed!! I look forward to trying out the rest of the menu and visiting again and again and again!!!

why this spot is so highly rated. Is it the décor? Must be because it surely is not because of the food and service. This restaurant changed hands last March, and I didn't get around to going till tonight. What a great surprise to find a restaurant of this quality, open in the region. The set Menus were great value, the food was fresh and beautifully presented. The place was buzzing, and Im not surprised. Super service, polite and friendly. The Chef knows his business......great fish for me and steak for my friend.....cooked perfectly, presented like a 4 star restaurant. Cant wait to go back with pals. Well done l'Entrevue.

Open all year round (always a bonus!), you can eat outside or inside if you wish. The food is DELICIOUS! Big portions, prices more than correct... and the staff is very friendly! Great experience. Don't forget to book as it's well known and appreciated by locals and tourists alike!

We were looking for somewhere to have an evening meal & decided to try here as it seemed to be busy which is always a good sign!! Service was very slow & one of our main courses was forgotten..So two of us were finished our main course before the third person got hers..Food was OK & we got one free desert because of the delay of one meal..Staff were friendly & apologetic over the mess up...I won't be back....
