Terrace at the beach We got this tip from Spanish friends. On the end of the boulevard with a nice view at the beach. We had paella and a glass of wine. Reasonably priced and good paella.

Spent 12 nights in Altafulla in July. We found our favourite restaurant called Polini Bar and Restaurant. There are actually 2 Polini restaurants close to each other but the Bar and Restaurant was our favourite. Myles and Roberto were so welcoming. The food was excellent with plenty of variety although we fell in love with the Potatas Bravas - best we have every tasted. Great Tapas, fish dishes and good wine.The tables are situated right on the beach and its such a relaxing place to dine. We would highly recommend Polini

Found this restaurant almost by accident, whilst walking round the old town. The outside tables were full so we sat inside. The resturant is quite small but the quality of the food is five star. We had a mixture of tapas dishes, all cooked to order and presented superbly. It was without doubt, the best tapas that we had during five weeks travelling round Spain.

Having read a couple of negative reviews on TripAdvisor, I was slightly apprehensive about going here however, in the end, we had a very good experience. For 15â¬, we were provided with a tasty 3-course meal with wine and water. What stood out more than anything was the excellent service; the waiters were friendly, helpful and efficient.

As other reviewers have said price and quality are outstanding, from the breakfast to evening meals the quality is the same and the service is equal to the food. Cannot recommend this place enough. We have been coming here for 5years and we will be back, says it all.Thanks for your comment. We hope to see you for five years ... at least!

We enjoyed a lovely family meal in this restaurant. We ordered starters and main courses and while to food was delicious, we found that we really ordered too much food, the main courses alone would have been more than sufficient. I was not sure about the toasted bread served with raw tomatoes and raw garlic I would give it a miss next time. It is a little on the expensive side when compared to other restaurants in the area but the food was delicious (particularly the lobster) but there are no hidden charges.

As a family of six we were made to feel very welcome, and the staff, including our waiter Alex, were attentive and friendly. Calimari, pizzas and risotto were all well presented and tasty. All in all a very enjoyable experience in a lovely spot by the sea. Would recommend!Thank you !!

We were tempted to visit this restaurant for lunch as it had a distinctive menu del dia and was particularly well patronised by local people. Indeed, it was one of busiest in Tarragona at the time. The well presented menu del dia was uncompromisingly Spanish. The service was friendly and efficient. Very good value. A gem.

Found this restaurant via trip advisor and agree with the many excellent reviews already posted. The food was very good and the wine also. Antonio was very welcoming and a great chef. The waiters and their service very professional.
