Serving breakfast and Lund 7 days a week 7am to 2 pm. The best bagels and homemade muffins on the island.
Eggs cooked perfectly. Bacon was thick and cooked to order, not your typical thin, dry and sitting on the grill waiting for an order. This is a family run diner and their care in serving a good meal truly shows.

Our second visit here was a hit! This Ventnor cafe is very hip and stylish, but they really know how to pack a menu full of healthy, organic food. And I wasn't disappointed. They serve breakfast, lunch and dinner, as well as an array of smoothies. We went for an early dinner one January weeknight, and had some solid vegan and vegetarian dishes. We ordered the veggie burger, tempeh burger, mac and cheese and vegan Ceasar salad (at the counter). Our food was out in about 10 minutes, and we sat in the window for a view of the street. The burgers came with sprouts and avocado on toasted bread (more like a 'melt'). The tempeh burger had great consistency and the veggie burger had lots of flavor (and made primarily of black beans and rice). The vegan Ceasar was delicious, although the dressing could use a tad bit more salt or garlic. The mac and cheese was just lovely.Enlightened Cafe has a side counter with tons of condiments, like Sriracha, tabasco and other chili toppings. They use real utensils, ceramic and glass (thanks for keeping the plastic to a minimum!) And there are some cool hammocks draped throughout the dining area. Come with a friend and share a few things!I am glad I gave this place another shot, as the Buddha Bowl I tried on a previous visit was not up to par. I truly liked everything, and I proudly support a local establishment that uses locally sourced items as much as possible. Thanks for the treat!

We were attracted by the 4-star online reviews and the Cafe's All American small town charm, however, while dining experience was nice and coffee was actually pretty good, the food didn't live up to our expectations...Everything tasted blend/dry/missing something. Not a total disappointment, but will most likely try another diner in the future. Johnny Rockets on the boardwalk exceeded expectations in terms of taste, quality, overall experience.
