After working out, my daughter and I looked on TripAdvisor for nearby breakfast. We are so glad we stopped in Walnuts! My omelette was amazing (canât recall the name, but it was stuffed with ham, spinach, and goat cheese it was soooo delicious! The cheese grits were out of this world! My daughter enjoyed scrambled eggs, bacon, and potatoes. We definitely plan to come back. It such a sweet place and had great customer service!

We came at a perfect time of day, around 10:30 am and we were the only people here. Very clean and pleasant decor. We had breakfast. Grits were creamy and delish. Sausage gravy could have used a bit more flavor (pepper). Sourdough toast was hearrty and perfectly toasted. Bacon was smoked and very good. Sausage links were leaving me little brautwurst, not the best for breakfast I thought. Overall, a very nice breakfast.

This seems to be a favorite of locals but I am at a loss as to why. Portions are small and overpriced ($11 for a small omelette with undercooked hash browns) and a beverage charge of $2 is added unless you request otherwise...we noticed too late. Too many other wonderful breakfast options in the area to warrant returning here.
