Reviews on Cafe food in Albuquerque, New Mexico, United States. Whether you're into history, culture, outdoor adventures or just in need of some new and unique scenery, Albuquerque offers exciting attractions for all ages and interests, anytime of the year. In the historic section of Old Town, ancient Indian and Spanish cultures come to life through old churches, quaint shops and piazzas, winding brick paths and adobe benches. Browsers can spend a whole day making their way through the more than 100 stores, boutiques and galleries that sell Southwestern goods as well as unique products from around the world. During the winter holiday season, Old Town is adorned with small lit candles and thousands come to stroll through the streets, listen to live music and celebrate. It is truly a sight to see. But the history doesn't stop there. The Indian Pueblo Cultural Center and the Petroglyph National Monument offer a glimpse of old Indian customs and art. Families will find plenty to do at the Albuquerque Biological Park, which features a zoo, aquarium and botanic garden. Outdoor types will find ample opportunities for hiking, biking and golf. After working up an appetite, head to any number of fine restaurants that serve up a choice of hot or even hotter New Mexican cuisine. To top it all off, take a ride on the Sandia Peak Aerial Tramway for spectacular views of all this vibrant city has to offer.

Large portions, spicy hot, attentive service, reasonable prices -- what's not to like? Well, be prepared to ingest a lot of grease -- which is normal for "classic" Mexican food recipes. Notwithstanding, it's very good overall.

Guava Tree Cafe

A great little spot to taste authentic flavors of the Caribbean, Central and South America, made from scratch daily. Share, meet new people, and talk Spanish to the friendly staff. Take it home, call in from work, and come back. Repeat!

My daughter works at the University and goes out to eat often. It was her birthday and I wanted to take her someplace new.I found the Guava Tree restaurant and we loved it.Our chicken sandwich with cheese and mushrooms was the best either one of us had eaten. She had some drink that was sour and she loved it too. A cute place by Monte Vista and Central. I highly recommend this cute place.

This owner-managed cafe is cited by the House of Representatives for its contribution to Albuquerque by running a thriving business which is eco-friendly. Locally sourced produce features. Putting all that admirable sentiment aside, the food is great. French toast exceptional. Plenty of green options and caters for Vegans. They offer Vegan butter. Super place.

Flying Star Cafe

We created Flying Star because we needed fresh, tasty coffee served in a bottomless cup, comfy seats with casual, competent service that didn’t get in your face. Most of all, we wanted a place where dessert was first and the food was something you could r

The counter service was fast, friendly and knowledgeable. The decor has a comfy retro vibe. I enjoyed my Athena salad and tasted my friend's fish and risoto dish, which was very light on the breaded topping and also very tasty. The deserts are great, and all baked by Flying Star. The key-lime piece is light and fluffy, turtle cheesecake rich and satisfying, chocolate cake generous with its icing and not overly sweet. The cookies were fabulous - esp. the Mexican Wedding Cookie, covered in powdered sugar. I also enjoyed the Chai Latte. I often find it too strong. This was perfect - probably more sugar that I should drink, but so tasty. I know it sounds like I ate a whole lot of deserts, but we were a group, and I I tasted everyone's. I recommend it for a fast, casual meal with better than average food and great sweets!!

This is called Holy Burgers now (slight but notable name change). Our group had the green chile burger and the mushroom and swiss and enjoyed both. Zucchini fries are quite good. Sweet potato fries were okay, not sure they really go with the Greek yogurt sauce though. Nice local beer selection as well and both indorr and outdoor seating.

Heard about the must have green chile burger, it really didn’t do anything for me. Nothing stood out about it. I did try the Bleu Max burger because the wife couldn’t finish it. It was outstanding, flavors popped, you could taste the flat iron on the burger. I would eat it again. Service was spotty and not tentative to small details like bringing napkins. I would go back but there somethings that need working on to “win” me.

This was our third trip to the Range, and we had another great experience. Authentic Mexican - large portions (expect to take some home) and friendly service - thank you Nathan.Their desserts are wonderful - save some room. Plenty of free parking across the street. The place can be pretty loud when they have live music. Interesting gift shop too. We will return when we are in the area.
