Came here for the season pass holders party last Saturday. Having just arrived after a 5 hour drive it was great to join the cheerful crowd for the spicy wings, cheese fries and $1 beers. Been to Snowshoe many times but never actually ate here, as this place is off the top of the Soaring Eagle lift and a bit removed from village center. It's not big inside and kind of dark - with a glassed in patio - casual, dive bar atmosphere except there are always plenty of families with small kids. Food was ok, the wings could have been marinated more but the sauces were good, and the cheese fries crispy and tasty. Best thing is it's right off the slopes so convenient to take quick a quick break and warm up on those cold and windy days.

Brandi's Restaurant and Pub, located in the Inn at Snowshoe, is about the only dining option at the base of the mountain (there is a bar and Subway across the street from the hotel). In the mornings, they have a complimentary breakfast buffet for hotel guests. The breakfast buffet was pretty good with hot and cold options. Occasionally, they'd run out of something like coffee or bagels and it would take a while to get more. But about everyone hits the restaurant at the same time in the morning before hitting the slopes, so not surprising that they run out of stuff when its so crowded. We also ate here once for dinner, dining in the pub area, which is separate from the restaurant area. But they serve mostly the same food at the bar and its open later and a more casual atmosphere. Food and service were OK, nothing great, but not terrible either. The best dining options at Snowshoe are at The Village, but we stayed at the Inn and didn't want to go out.

If you are staying in Snowshoe for more than one night chances are you'll end up here for dinner at least once. It's a bigger more spacious place and relatively uncrowded - there's almost never a wait. Food here a bit less pricy and fairly reliable although unremarkable. This time we had the wedge salad, burger and chili, all adequate, quite acceptable for a casual meal in a relatively quiet and relaxed environment.

Tuque's is a nice addition to the lunch scene at Snowshoe. Its across from the Western Territory. Great music and place to relax for an hour. The poutine / fries were delightfully filling. The french dip sandwich was tasty. The cheese plate could probably use a few more varieties of cheese, but nonetheless, a good option. My kids liked the burger sliders but probably would have liked it more if there were some more picky kid friendly items (read, chicken tenders). Figure $100 for a family of 5 for lunch.

Not fancy, not quick, not cheap, but food was good when it finally got there. We arrived about 6:00 and it was already busy and noisy, but looked like it would get even louder since they were setting up for music. We ordered the “Loaded Lonnie” pizza with red sauce instead of the cream sauce and I have to say it was the best pizza I’ve had in a long time. Took 1 1/2 hours, but not many choices in the area. Watched the flies buzz around while we waited.

Our server was very nice and friendly. The nachos were fabulous and my husband loved the tacos. I very pleased to see vegetarian options.

Came here twice for dinner on this visit to Snowshoe - second time because we got snowed in so had to spend an extra night. If you get here early the wait is not bad - both times we got seated almost right away just before 6. Not that there are a lot of dining choices on the mountain but this is a good restaurant worth repeated visits regardless of where it's located. As usual I had ribs - which dependably stay the same year after year. Also tried the chicken quesadilla on second night, very good as well. Huge portions so had leftovers serving as lunch the next day - good deal.
