This bar/restaurant was not my first choice, but once inside, I quickly changed my tune. The architecture is old, but beautiful, especially the floor to ceiling oak bar. The food is not your typical bar food, but very gourmet. Love the rosemary fries! There are several drink options that were quite different, and very good. Reasonable, small-town prices. My guests and I enjoyed some games while enjoying our dinner.

Our party of six ordered wings, apps and salads. The prices didn't seem too bad, until the food arrived. The portions are very small. I left hungry. My salad was tiny. There were hardly any toppings and I only found 5 very small pieces of cubed grilled chicken. The apps were also very small. The menu is extremely limited. They only offer wings, apps, sliders and a few salads. I will never return. On a positive note, the service was great.

Revisited Frankie's after golfing 18 at Blackwolf Run. This has now become one of my favorite places for a burger. Our bartender, Megan, was fantastic. Super friendly, chatty and made an excellent recommendation for me to try the French Fried Onion Burger. These things are massive and the quality is not lacking due to its sheer size. Perfectly cooked, excellent toppings and that roll, nobody else beats that. I will always choose this place over anywhere else anytime I'm in that neck of the woods. Thank you again!

I have a tempura obsession and finally a place in town to satisfy it.Went for lunch last week- the food was excellent. Our hostess recommended the Bento Box lunches. I had the vegetable tempura, my husband the sushi. Lots of food, very tasty, the tempura was very clean tasting (meaning the oil was not old or off). The best Japanese food I have had in the states since Japan. My husband enjoyed the salmon and tuna sushi in his box. It was his first time eating anything other than California rolls. He loved it- I really recommend this restaurant. The menu was extensive- so lots of items for different palates.

8th Street Ale Haus is one of our go to places in Sheboygan. Theyâre menu consists of upscale, creatively concocted pub food. My favorite dish on theyâre menu (which does change seasonally) is the scallops with orzo. Ive had it multiple times and it always comes out perfectly done. Another favorite is the cheese and charcuterie board, which always has a great variety of fun things to try on it. Then thereâs the cheese curds: best in Wisconsin in my opinion. They are perfectly fried in a light, crispy batter. They have a huge selection of beers and ciders on tap, and a very fun seasonal cocktail list as well. Also: donât miss their Sunday brunch! Bottomless mimosas and the best Chicken and Waffles outside of Tennessee!Whether youâre seated at the bar, or in the dining room, the service at Ale Haus canât be beat! I stumbled upon this amazing restaurant on the riverfront in Sheboygan today! Wow, what a treat! Awesome menu variety, reasonable prices and great food! I tried the Big J - pulled pork with Mac & cheese on a large fresh bun, and sweet potato fries with their house special sweet creamy dipping sauce. We drove here from Milwaukee on a Saturday night. We were seated immediately with reservations. We started with Old Fashioned cocktails. Which were excellent. The duck fat fries were a great appetizer, along with some shrimp. My wifeâs wagu beef with risotto was perfect, as was my roast pork loin. All of the food was excellent. Our server, Troy was very menu / drink knowledgeable and attentive. We will be sure to stop here again.
