We were a singular couple dining amongst a happy band of large family gatherings: birthdays, religious festivals and reunions. The acoustic design and excellent sound-proofing meant that we were not impacted at all - while we had plenty of peace and space to overlook the fields outside. Two things stood out at Flying Brick - the can-do excellent service culture and the superb food (great value for money). Our shared vegetarian platter and shared lamb shoulder were delicious and very well-sized and priced. Well done Flying Brick - a brilliant addition to the local dining options.Thank you for the wonderful review - so glad you enjpoyed your visit! The shared platters are a great way to enjoy our menu! We had the 2 beer paddles of 10 craft beers and a share platter of olives, dukkha, bread, salami, cherry tomatoes, caramelised onions and 3 types of cheeses for $40. They were delicious and later we bought some cheese to bring home. If you go the Queenscliff Brewery website, you can download a voucher for the above deal which is a savings of $9.Thanks for your lovely review oscarette. Let's start with the positives. Very friendly staff and great service on the day. Good area out the back for kids to play. I ordered a seafood plate for two $50 and the rest of the fam ordered their various dishes. Although the seafood was good quality it was quite a small serving even for one person and it did not include chips or salad. I ended up paying for a bowl of chips and a soft drink which bought my meal to over $60 for one person. Chips aren't that expensive and neither is a little bit of salad. The other meals for the cost...all over $30 were also small. I'd relook at that menu if I were the manager.

We found ourselves not finding a place to eat New Year's Eve. A call and they allowed us to eat and run when the place was fully booked.Staff so accomodating food very good priced very well also.This place is worth the visit with great views as well.

We dropped in for a lunch before the ferry and it was great. The fish and chips were not greasy and delicious, chips great. Service good and a nice cold draft to wash it down. Great bistro for a nice relaxing lunch. Thumbs up

Really enjoyed our shared plates. The menu was interesting with many tempting dishes. We had a hard time choosing. The wine list was a fabulous collection of cellar door wines. We share a scrumptious dessert.So many that dine at our restaurant express the difficulty in choosing from the menu/ fresh ingredients - dishes created and prepared by our chefs own recipes on top of an expansive menu , makes choosing rather difficult - thatâs why we see so many friendly faces return / we hope to see you again too!

These guys just got a new chef and we came in for burger night! It delivered! Awesome local beers and gin to go along with awesome burgers!! Desert was a little expensive for the portion size but very eloquent. Your apple crumble is not ordinary apple crumble and your chocolate torte is no ordinary chocolate torte. It was a super special treat for a Wednesday night.Hello and thank you for your excellent review!
