Late dinner due to late arrival. Wasnât too crowed for a Friday night in the summer. Staff was friendly and helpful. Got to watch baseball and softball while eating which is always a good thing for our family.

Wanted to try a new place and though have seen this restaurant, never stopped in. Should have discovered this place sooner. Great coffee, excellent food - enjoyed pancakes and eggs and bacon out of this world. Great ambience. We'll be back for breakfasts, but also at other times. Have an on going special- order 2 appetizers and get a free bottle of wine. Stop in. Parking a little challenging because its on street.

The service was friendly and efficient. The food was excellent. The big door was open to the patio area and there were lots of flies buzzing our food. Between the four of us we exterminated 25+ flies. We will probably wait for winter before we try again.Thank you for the review! The salmon was prepared perfectly and was accompanied by pomme fondant potatoes. My husband & son said the pork chop and buttermilk fried chicken were delicious. We got off the freeway to get some gas...and made a wrong turn. I'm so glad we did because we were hungry too after driving for 4 hours. We stopped for dinner and it was some of the best food we've ever had. The service was great, the fire place was inviting (and boy was it cold out)....I'd drive 4 hours just to go here again!!

Everyone told us that they eat at the bowling alley, which sounded crazy to me. But we went and we'd go back! The food area is separated from the bowling area, so the atmosphere was better than we expected. However, it still lacked in personality. It was just a room with tables and chairs. The upside was the food, which was delicious. The BBQ bacon cheeseburger was delicious, as well as the onion rings. The steak wrap was juicy and delightful. The food is definitely worth a return trip.

While the restaurant is located in a nice area, parking is less than convenient. As far as I could tell there was no off-street parking for guests, which meant circling the block a few times to find a parking spot on the street. While our server was nice and gave me and my friends time to catch up and stuff, she wasn't very attentive at all. We ordered some cheese curds first but then disappeared for a bit not taking our order for dinner. My friend enjoyed the wings, and I loved my Trempealeau walnut burger, but again, the server seemed to forget about us as we needed napkins, water refills, etc. I recommend for the food but that's about it.Jenn, thank you so much for taking time to review us and let us know of your experience. We are very happy to hear that you liked the cheese curds, burger, and wings. Unfortunately it sounds like our service wasn't the best that day and we apologize. Please stop in again and let us show you this was hopefully an isolated issue. In addition, we have added 27 new parking spots within 100 feet of the restaurant to alleviate some of those parking issues. Thanks for the four stars and come back soon!

We have eaten there many times over the years but I donât think I have ever reviewed. The staff is very good. They are usually crazy busy but still manage to be on top of things every time we have eaten there! Most times have been for breakfast and have never had anything that wasnât great. Also, one of the best Bloody Maryâs ever!!! This is a must when we visit La Crosse!!!

This place was a recommendation from the gal at a visitor's center in La Crosse. Was spot on. Although the bar area was busy with the Sunday game crowd , it was not noisy and very good service. We had a table by the window that we could see the water. Wished it wasn't raining as would have loved to be on their patio area.So happy to hear you enjoyed your time with us!
