There is a bar and a restaurant. We sat in the bar and enjoyed the football. The food was great. We enjoyed chicken parm and Butlers steak. Key Lime Pie is good for dessert. Drinks, meals and one dessert $40.

This is the 3rd time my wife and I have visited KBJ. All 3 times we have tried something different from wings, burgers, ribs, salads and pizza. Sunday I had the carnivore pizza and my wife had burger & fries. The pizza was wonderful! Service has always been top notch and a manager checks at least once during our visit. We have picked non-busy times each visit and have received our food quickly. Recommend KBJ for date night, taking the kids or just dropping in for a burger & brew. BTW - beer is ice cold too!!!Good place for families to gather as well.

Tipsy'z Tavern

Hubby wanted to go to Tipsy'z Tavern for our evening meal. One of the biggest challenges in visiting Tipsy'z Tavern is finding a parking spot. There are two handkerchief size parking lots on either side of the restaurant. Finally, we went around the corner and parked in the larger side lot that is beside the little strip center. For the first time we sat at one of the two tables in the small entry room. Our table was for two and the other table seats four. I actually prefer that entry room compared to the next room that is crowded with many high pub style tables. Those tables are a bit too close for my liking. Hubby ordered the French Dip sandwich with hot chips and ranch dip ($10.50). I ordered the Build Your Own Burger ($8.80) with Smoked Gouda, lettuce, tomato, red onion, mayo, ketchup and pickle. I requested that it be cooked medium. Although the server realized what that meant, the cook did not. I received a meat patty that was charred on the outside and cooked well past medium on the inside. Also, when he got the check Hubby mentioned that we were charged extra for the Smoked Gouda, a cheese up charge that was not mentioned on the menu. The menu simply listed a selection of cheeses and said to pick one. Hubby liked his meal. My burger was overcooked and was simply okay. We did both like the hot chips that were nicely cooked. They were browned lightly, crisp, and not at all greasy. We may return to Tipsy'z Tavern, but it will not be any time soon.

Nice upscale restaurant with really good service and good food, but servings are on the small size and pricing is high for what you get. Crawfish-tails appetizer was very good and was an ample size serving. Shrimp and crab pasta serving size was on the small size and although it was very tasty, it had very little crabmeat if any. I certainly could not see or taste any crab. Baby back ribs were just average, but serving size of the side dishes were small.

Sweet Old Bill's

We decided to come here for an early lunch. We arrived moments after they opened at 11 am. The parking lot was about empty when we arrived and filled up very soon after. This is a large open restaurant with an industrial feel - gray walls and large vintage photographs. Their menu is limited in size, which is probably a good thing. They seem to know their food niche - burgers, que, and brew, as they state it on their menu. They have one menu for both lunch and dinner. My husband had their Southerner Burger with the slaw on the side and french fries ($10) and sweet tea ($1.50). He liked the fries and his burger which was just a tad overcooked from his request of medium. He thought his slaw was dry and needed more seasoning. His sweet tea was dreadful and very bitter tasting. I have been searching for a restaurant with excellent beef brisket, so I ordered the Beef Brisket Plate at $18. For that price you get 1/3 pound of beef brisket, two sides and slaw. That's just slightly over 5 ounces of brisket - I had three slices of brisket. I tried to select unique sides, so I got corn pudding and tomato pie. The corn pudding was good - corn baked in a light cornbread style batter. The bready part of that side was fairly light. The best side was the tomato pie: tomatoes and onions in vinaigrette with cheese and a crust and some secret ingredients. On our next visit, both my sides will be tomato pie. The slaw was served in a tiny condiment size cup - two bites worth. It needed more seasoning and I wonder why they bothered giving such a paltry serving. The beef brisket was very good indeed. I really enjoyed it. It would be nice to have some sliced onion, dill pickle, and jalapeno slices to go with the beef brisket and perhaps a square of cornbread or Texas Toast. The Brisket Plate is $18 and each side is usually $3. So basically you are paying $12. for 1/3 pound of beef. That's $36. a pound for Brisket! We felt that most items were overpriced by $2 - $3. We had the most excellent server : William B. He was friendly, attentive, fully versed in menu item details, and kept our beverage glasses full. We will return to Sweet Old Bill's.

Claddagh Restaurant & Pub

We had been aware of the Claddagh Restaurant and Pub for several years but had never been there until today. For first timers, they have the same menu for both lunch and dinner. Hubby and I both had water to drink. They do have daily specials. On Tuesday, one of the specials was $2 off the Jameson Burger (regularly $10.95). It is a half pound of Angus ground chuck grilled to order with house made Jameson Glaze, Irish Cheddar cheese, and onion straws on a brioche bun. That's what I chose and requested that it be grilled medium. My side order was hot chips with ranch dressing. My burger was cooked to order and it was good. The meat patty may have been processed (as opposed to hand pattied in house) since it was a little stringy and there were some bone chips in the meat. They serve the hot chips in a small oval casserole dish, so the serving of hot chips is much smaller than you receive in other local restaurants. Overall, I did enjoy my meal. Hubby ordered the O'Malley's French Dip ($11.95). It has half a pound of Prime roast beef with sauteed onions and melted provolone cheese with Au-Jus for dipping. He also got the hot chips for his side. He really enjoyed his meal. Our server was very attentive and polite. When she learned this was our first visit, she thanked us for dining here. She also thanked us after our meal and hoped we'd return again. We enjoyed our meal and the great service we received. You can check out their menu online. We will eat here again.

Pizza is my favorite food, and I gravitate toward something REALLY Italian -- like actual pizza made in actual Italy. IF I can't have that, I love creative pizza made with good ingredients. And Blue Rock hits the mark here. My husband thinks the beer is terrific, too. Great place to take the family for pizza night.

Took my family out for dinner. Called early in the week and got a reservation for 6 which included two kids one of which needed a high chair. Having never been here before we had no knowledge of the floor plan. Very disappointing to arrive and be seated in the very crowded, noisy bar area. I commented to the hostess, we asked for dinner reservations not bar seating. Of course to move into the dining area would mean losing our reservation and waiting the 45 minutes to seated. We took the bar room table. Our waiter quickly informed us that was very new. He had little knowledge of the menu and struggled to remember the menu special for that night. He also had NO help, no mentor....just out there on his own. We placed our orders. he told us longer than usual wait time since it was Saturday night. It took 15 minutes to get our drinks. He never brought us any bread until my wife made a request after seeing other tables getting bread baskets. He forgot. Most of our meals came with salads. They were delivered literally 2 minutes before our entrees came out. Since we had just gotten our salads they took our entrees back to "keep the fresh". That was a joke. Every meal came back to the table slightly warm to cool depending on the entrée. I had Baby Back Ribs. They were horrible. We will not go back. I do not recommend Sammy G's
